The first room we were given was filthy. The bathroom had little clumps of mud all over the floor so I wet a tissue to try and sweep it into a corner and the tissue came up completely black like the floor had never been mopped. In addition, the toilet had fecal matter stuck to the inside of the bowl. I called the front desk immediately and asked that housekeeping come up to clean the bathroom. I was told that they didn’t have housekeeping on staff so they would change our room and I could come get the key. When I went to the desk I asked the lady what the draw was for Poteau OK that made all the hotels so expensive… she looked at my reservation and said “you should have booked directly with us, it would have been a lot cheaper. Believe me honey, Expedia gets their money”. I asked that the information of the room condition be given to the manager and was told she wrote it down. After that, I was never contacted by anyone in the hotel during our 6 day stay. The hotel slso smells bad which prompted me to go to the store to get canned deodorizer and scented candles for our room to make it bearable.

This is a pretty awesome location, came to see the full moon from the viewpoint of the Highest Hillbin the World, nearby, 5-10 minutes. I highly recommend for all celestial events! The hotel is in a good spot, food choices, close to casino, and immaculate condition, very nice rooms
