I’ve stayed at this Ramada a lot; probably more than 100 times, because it’s basic but clean and comfortable. However my last trip was after a full day of international travel to grab a few hours sleep before continuing.
I left my iPad in the room - my fault - and I didn’t realise for 4 days when I went to unpack. I emailed the hotel, no response. When I called the next day - I was told “I was just emailing you back” and that my iPad was there BUT the hotel knew which room the iPad was left in and had all my contact details and made no effort to contact me at all, which is technically ‘theft by finding’ and although I now have it back - it just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth and feels very dishonest on the hotel staff’s part. I feel like if I hadn’t gotten in touch, they wouldn’t have either despite knowing the iPad belonged to me, so I can’t help but wonder where it would’ve ended up?

Booked in overnight as attending a funeral following day so was a convenient stop over. Drinks were very pricy and limited places to eat as it is in a services area outside was rubbish from takeaways left and bins overflowing which attracted vermin
Close to my destination the following morning. In a motorway services which isn’t bad but my room was on the ground floor beside the main entrance with people walking in and out all night, smoking and noisy.

Poor customer service when requesting early cancellation due to change in work location. Forced to use hotel rather than lose payments
Not a very nice smell in the room, 2 cracked floor tiles in the bathroom, sink leaking, the guys in reception were very friendly but the condition of the room I am unlikely to return.
This hotel is in a good location with shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. It is a great value for money. The rooms are spacious and it was great to have iron, fan and hairdryer in the room. If there was aircon I would give it 5 stars in all areas. However it won't refrain me from returning. I will come back again.

The room we were first shown to smelled of cigarettes but we were able to change rooms. A used bath towel from the previous guests was still hanging in the bathroom and there was only one set of towels provided. This was swiftly remedied. The lift was out of order. The hotel does look a little tired.
Good location and plenty of parking
Room was apparently an executive room. Tv remote didn’t work plus there was a leak in the bathroom which made the carpet outside the door soggy. Been like that for ages since the floor had a dip in it from the rotting wood.

Love that it was so close to many food establishments
On arrival was informed that there was no hot water.
Extremely disappointing as all i wanted was a shower.
Staff member did apologise and offered free parking and a breakfast voucher by way of apology.
Not having hot water made the whole experience poor.
