The staff was courteous, and although the system was down throughout our whole stay they were very friendly and professional. The first room we were given had some issues and we were promptly give a different room. Parking is available for $10 a night which we weren’t aware of prior to arrival. The pillows were very flat and the getting to the room was easier via the stairs than the single elevator available. We purchased the breakfast option which overall was a decent deal so as not to have to leave the premise, but it wasn’t anything to sing home about.

When we arrived we were told the internet was down and they didn’t have our information or reservation. The restaurant and the bar were closed. We arrrived at 4 pm. It was -4 outside. They put us in a cold room and we had to order pizza. I asked for extra blankets and I received 2 sheets. Then the cable tv disconnected right in the middle of the Super Bowl! We were given no information about the breakfast I paid for. When we arrived for breakfast at 9 am they said it was over and we should have some snacks. They charged $10 for 2 coffees. We packed up and at checkout they couldn’t tell me how much the bill was because Expedia was a third party. They emailed a receipt which simply stated “balance zero”. I still don’t know how much I was charged. The staff was unprofessional and unprepared to deal with their technical issues. The ad said free Wi-Fi which turned out to be only for members of Marriott. So cold, hungry and uninformed I headed out to see my daughter and her brand new baby at a local hospital. It was a disappointing stay to say the least. Won’t use a “third party “ again, nor use the Marriott.

Clean room. Comfortable beds. Great location. Our TV didn’t work. Supposedly a maintenance person came while we were at dinner. Still didn’t work when we returned. Front desk came about 30 minutes later with a new remote. Couldn’t get it to work and just said..”sorry” and nothing else. Should have swapped it or a cable out.

Stating up front that there is a parking charge would be a start. Also a better breakfast option would be nice; I wasn’t expecting pre-made food from Starbucks for my included breakfast meal. Overall it was okay.
