This will be our new hotel to stay at while in the area. The rooms were HUGE and very comfortable. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Pool was open and was a great time !

The room was excellent in that there was a full service kitchenette with a full size fridge and microwave. Wow haven't seen that in all the other hotels i have stayed Very clean and fresh smelling room. Breakfast was ok but good coffee.

A close drive to Marist College (which was our purpose for staying here). Nice accommodations, great size room. My only complaint is the lights were sooo bright with no way to tone them down. Even in the hallways, but especially difficult was that in the room every lamp and in the bathroom the lights were super bright, so waking up slowly or winding down in the evening was impossible. Breakfast was typical American hotel breakfast, nothing special but does the job. Overall would recommend a stay here if you are coming to Poughkeepsie.

I believe this was recently updated and it looked it. We had a king bed suite that was very spacious and clean. The bathroom sink was odd. The faucet was too short or they set it too far back. Every time you used the sink, there really wasn’t enough room to wash your hands. Breakfast was standard and some what underwhelming. Location was great for getting to everything we wanted to do. Overall, nice stay.

Each location has a different story
Disappointed on two features: (1) pool was not available, due to incomplete inspection with the county. Hotel brand new a few months, and the pool is not ready?? (2) breakfast at this stay (in Poughkeepsie) had fewer options than our first Home2 Suites stay (in Chatanooga) - we were expecting fresh cut-up fruits in the bar, English muffins, and hard boiled eggs. None of those were included. Learned not every Home2 Suites location serve the same food options. Poughkeepsie - the oatmeal was watery, soggy; coffee was not properly served - not brewed long enough one day, super black on another day.

Excellent Hotel
Brand new hotel. Two night stay in studio w/king size bed. Room included full kitchen with full size refrigerator, microwave & dishwasher. The kitchen area was equipped with glasses, dishes, utensils, etc. Bathroom was large with sliding glass doors including body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. Room included couch with pull out bed and leg hassock. Large TV with numerous cable channels. Hotel has pool that opened for the first time on 8/10/24. Breakfast was served 700a, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, cereal, oatmeal.

New property but the staff all looks miserable to be there. The pool had just opened and a large family was having a gathering on the outside patio so they took the liberty of owning the pool as well. No one was overseeing it, no one cared. As paying guests we also wanted to use this amenity but after being jumped on and kicked by the other family’s guests, we were done. Breakfast was underwhelming and for Saturday, it was pretty empty. Spend your money elsewhere.
