The staff at this hotel were very courteous, timely, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, especially that we could bike from there to get on the Root River Trails.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The place was not soundproof and we heard noise from people in the halls, room next to ours and even people outside smoking. There was no fan in the bathroom, which may have helped give us some “white noise” between the door and our bed. The fan in room would only run if air conditioning was running, fan would not stay on continually, which also would have helped with noise control.

Terrific hospitality!
Moving to this town. Needed a place to stay before we had to unload the trucks. Was very pleased with the staff and facilities. I will highly recommend this hotel to guests when extra space is needed.

Hidden jewel
This little hotel is a jewel in a small town. When we could not find a room in Lanesboro we tried Preston. Now we will stay here every time we come to bike.

Great night of rest but the free breakfast left a lot to be desired. They advertised 6am to 9am but i went to it at 630am, very little food was available. I managed tonget juice and coffee but there were only 2 yogurts in the frig and bowls of instant oatmeal available. No bread, no waffles, no fresh fruit and no pastries. Somebody dropped the ball.
