The staff were nice and helpful. Overall the place appears a little tired. It could do with some attention to detail in maintenance. Nothing major. I will be happy to stay there again.

Decent budget option
Firstly, the staff here were lovely and super helpful. It’s a budget option and the beds were really comfy. Gave 3 stars as our door was super stiff and difficult to open. If we would have stayed longer, would have reported it. The room is fine but tired. The carpets although cleaned looked stained and tired. I would stay here again no problem, they just need to invest a little in it to get it up to spec.

Close to A6, M55 and M6 so easy to get to. Good check in. Brilliant having breakfast until noon on weekends!. Simple food available with restaurant next door. Room was clean and comfy. No hair drier and a few lights out of action but if guests don't report to staff, they don't always know. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bit of noise from the traffic with the window open but died away at night. No aircon but I often prefer having a window and a heater as necessary. Could do with some TLC but as I said, clean and comfy. Good value for money - I'd go back

My stay was good the only fault was my room was a the back of the hotel and the motor way was so noisy all night , I had difficulty sleeping.

Due to the entitlement of smokers, who obviously dont follow the rules the bathroom was stinking of smoke coming though the ventilation. Hotel needs to manage this better

Rooms are very outdated and in need of a real makeover. The room smelt of cigarette smoke, the window didn’t close and the bathroom door looked like it had been previously kicked in.

The staff were helpful and well mannered. The rooms are in need of a good clean. Rust in bathroom. Dust around carpet edges and carpet badly stained. Furniture in need of a complete refit. But price for one night very reasonable

Bed comfy,but room needs refurbishment
Just staying overnight, but the room and corridors are very much in need of an upgrade. The carpets were well worn and stained. Only the main wall light worked. The staff were friendly and helpful, but condition really let the stay down. Could have done with more than one pillow.

Old, Stinky and dirty hotel. Not worth the money
Hotel is hidden inside and difficult to locate. Entire hotel including lift and stair cases so stinky. Carpets in the rooms and corridor are very old and dirty. The room is big, but very basic and there is dust every where in the corners of the room and strains on the walls. There is sofa, but it is very dirty and with strain marks. Bed is very basic and pillows are not good and there is a very small 24 inch non-smart TV with some basic channels. There is no A/C and we found it very difficult to sleep on a hot summer day of 28 degree centigrade. Overall it is not worth for the price they are charging, it is not worth.
