Property appears to be a work in progress. My particular room had a missing large vent cover, heavy soiled carpet (composite flooring is now used in most motels), and a noisy, squeaky bed.

The owners are really working hard to make improvements to this property. The check-in was quick with a friendly staff. The rooms are receiving upgrades, and the breakfast has improved from my previous stays. For the price, it is difficult to beat the deal.

The motel was clean and the staff was friendly. However, the bed was uncomfortable and the AC was noisy - but not noisy enough to drown out the sounds of other guests, including children running up and down the hallway in the middle of the night.

The property is just okay. Clean enough. They had no replacement towels for us. Every towel in the hotel was in the wash??? The shampoo and conditioner containers were impossible to get the contents out. The plastic on the bottles was so rigid that I had to use all my strength to bend the bottles around the shower shelf to get even the smallest amount out. The towels were on the cheap end. The cleaning staff used a leaf blower to sweep the hallways.

I would not recommend this hotel. Our room keys didn’t work. My husband told the staff and without identification he was given a new room key just by giving the room number. The entire carpet in the room was damp and dirty plus the room had a musty smell. We could hear noises from attaching rooms and on the room above us throughout the night. The bed was very uncomfortable and we could feel the mattress springs. It was a miserable night.

People hanging out the back door entrance smoking. The price was decent. Holiday inn was outrageously expensive. That was reason we chose this hotel. It was a Super 8 that was remodeled. The cleaning staff was hit or miss. We just asked front desk for towels each evening.

Air conditioning made the room feel damp Sheets were damp feeling The front desk person made mistake with keys of room assignments. My grab and and I were settled and we heard someone use a key on our door. They then tried to forcefully push it open. I had the latch and read bolt on. But it did start to listen the screws on the latch.

Staff were nice, breakfast was minimal and internet was very slow. That was better after two nights but noise from the second floor made it very hard to sleep. No elevators and trash from fast food I ate was not removed during my stay. Beds were made except for the last day and towels were changed all except the last day. The family staff at the front desk made the stay better than it was. They were the positive!!!

I like the price.

To get to the ice machine, you have to go all the way down to the front office. The carpet felt like it could have needed a shampoo. The beds felt good. The people at the front office were really nice. there is no elevator. So for someone that is handicapped, there might be a struggle. Specially if you’re in a wheelchair.

Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. While the service was great, the location left much to be desired. The room was damp, the carpet was actually wet. The bed (very very uncomfortable) was also wet. When I asked the staff, they stated this was a normal occurrence in the summer and offered to let us use a dehumidifier. It didn’t help. The entire facility had an unpleasant odor. Hard to pin it down…cooked food, body odor, wet carpet..I really can’t pin it down. I can at least say the location was quiet. But honestly, not worth the money they charged. If you absolutely must stay in Prince Frederick MD, I suggest the Holiday Inn Express. Or go to another city.

I spoke to the lady at the front desk, and she knew we had to leave in an emergency. Gave me the number to contact for a 1-night refund. Said it was up to Expedia, or she would have given us a refund. Contact Expedia did not and said it was up to the hotel. Fill like I was Lied to.
