A precious lady, Gail, welcomed us to her Inn. She had a full house of 12 to serve as hostess for morning breakfast which was excellent! The second morning was delicious as well. Gail’s daughter was out of town for medical testing for the week, leaving her to carry the load of which she did wonderfully. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only thing that I would recommend would be to tidy up the landscaping. It would improve the exterior of the beautiful Inn. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Elsa’s Inn to the utmost of pleasure. Gail is such a sweet lady with a cute disposition and an amazing cook!

It really wasn’t the place that was bad. It was the fact that it’s in the middle of nowhere and there’s basically nothing to do there, but I guess I should’ve understood that by reading you can hike.

The place was suppose to be 3 miles travel to Bar Harbor. It was 3 miles as the crow flies.. But, there is a ferry to Bar Harbor. To drive to Bar Harbor-its 1 hour 30 minutes. So 3 hours round trip. The Bars and attractions are at Bar Harbor. If you want Quiet. No attractions this is your place.

Look no further! This is the first inn I have ever stayed at! The host is extremely kind and is willing to give you all the good tips and tricks to the area. My boyfriend and I stayed one night there and did a good amount of exploring in the time we had! We ate at Ben&Me's (fabulous hot dogs and blueberry ice cream) which was recommended by our hostess! In the morning, I woke and watched the sunrise from the window facing the harbor of our room and it was just beautiful. We ate breakfast there before leaving the road for a long drive back to Upstate NY (breakfast was 2 fluffy blueberry pancakes with whip cream and blueberries on top) and they were just fabulous. We will absolutely be back and are so grateful to have had such a lovely experience!

Didn't like 4pm check-in, should be 3 Didn't like breakfast ending at 8:30, it should be later. Otherwise, nice clean pretty place with comfortable mattress, but no air conditioning Very nice hostess

Elsa's Inn is a lovey spot for quiet scenic stays - the bed and pillows were lush and the rooms are furnished with beautiful antiques. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to assit me with a small issue. I will return whenever I am in the area.

Two-night stay. Actually, thought this was located in Bar Harbor but as it turned out preferred Prospect Harbor! Quaint and relaxing. Friendly hosts and wonderful breakfast. Just enough to start your day! We had Sarah's room and found the room size just perfect, and the bed was very comfortable.

Overall, the state was nice. A nice Gal greeted us on our arrival. The room was cute and pleasant however no window shade over the bathroom window, no garbage can to be found and a shelf above the bathroom sink made using the sink quite challenging. Breakfast in the morning was great.

We stayed for 5 days at Elsa's Inn. If you drive its a ways from Acadia NP, but so close to the one side of the park that no one really ever goes to, Schoodic, its so worth being in Peospect Harbor. It's beautiful. Gail and the family are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! They allow pets (yellow lab), which was awesome.

Absolutely wonderful!! A peaceful spot along the water. I could have sat on the porch the entire stay! Breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend! PS- the info on Expedia about needing to be there by 3 pm was inaccurate! They were very accommodating!
