The shower in our room did not work. When turned on, it just dribbled water. I called the front desk and the only fix was to move rooms, however, we were checking out in 20 minutes (after the shower!) so that wasn't an option.
In addition, our room was right next to the elevator and it was loud throughout the evening and early AM. Lastly, the small refrigerator in our room needs repair as every 5 minutes or so it would "click" on and make a terrible noise as the compressor ran for a few minutes.....this lasted all night. I would have unplugged it but the plug is located behind the big dresser.
When I went to check-out and again reported the major issue with the shower not working, I was told that they could not offer a discount, refund, voucher, etc. The front desk clerk told me my only course of action was to posted a review online. Terrible service and treatment by a company that I use frequently when travelling. I would avoid this hotel (unless you don't like to shower/bathe) and stay at one of the competitors in the area.
I never write reviews, but I'm compelled now given how poor the service and hotel was. Very disappointed with Hampton Inn....
