Great Location and Service
Spent one evening at the Providence Hilton with my parents and sister. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the location was great. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, though we did have to call the front desk multiple times to resolve issues (including having to move my parents to a new room as their heat didn't work). Despite the inconveniences I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Providence.

The hotel was not well maintained and showed it's age. The elevator door would jam and felt unsafe. The staff was great, the restaurant was nice.

Ups and downs.
Well first off I said no to things for children because I have none. The stay was great, however the buffet could be a little cheaper. I was glad the hotel was extremely close to the convention center, so I will most likely book with you again for next year.

I found the staff very kind and helpful. The room was very clean. I was under the impression they had full room service and they do not. This is something more and more hotels are eliminating, and it makes it hard for travelers. However, the on-site restaurant did send up a bagged meal at my request which I greatly appreciated.

The property whilst well located shows signs of a lack of ongoing maintenance. The lobby area is clean, but once in the lift areas and bedrooms there is signs that there has not been preventative repairs. Examples are lift lobbies with peeling wallpaper and the bathroom with peeling paint.

We booked through hotels.com and at 10pm, with two little kids in tow, we were told they were overbooked and didn’t have a room for ur. The woman at the desk was very nice but didn’t have any options for us.
