I had a great stay at the Residence Inn in downtown Providence. The location is super convenient—an easy walk to shopping, dining, and entertainment. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and hassle-free. One small surprise: there are no ice buckets in the rooms, so you have to use your own cups to fill ice from the machine, which was a bit inconvenient. Otherwise, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Rooms are attended to every other day, but they don't tell you and for a two day visit there will be no room cleaning. But they don't put two days of coffee service or extra cups in the room. In reality that shouldn't matter since the coffee is terrible.

The Hotel security is cutting edge. I think one of the things that caught my attention was how quiet and silky smooth the elevator operated, believe it or not.

The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the amtrak station and is centrally located. There is a convention center and shopping mall 2 blocks away.

We loved this hotel, the check in process was very quick and the employees were extremely friendly. Our room was exactly like the pictures and we loved having the full sized fridge in the room. For a downtown experience I would highly recommend this hotel!

Our stay was amazing! Room was clean, bed was very comfortable and the staff was very nice. Also was glad we got a complimentary breakfast, which included a good amount of food to choose from. I feel as though hotels nowadays are getting away from the complimentary breakfasts, but it is a nice added touch. If we're ever in Providence again we will definitely stay here again!

Great experience!!

It was plenty spacious, clean and the front desk crew was always so accommodating and pleasant! Will stay here again if i’m ever in Providence.
