Overall … average. Very inconsistent. Sometimes staff was friendly and helpful, sometimes very standoffish and unhelpful. Location is good (near beach) but advertised as two blocks when you really need to walk further to the beach access spot. Considering the beauty of the gardens in the Provincetown area, the grounds were quite underwhelming. Some grass, some planters, and a gravel drive. Room was clean, but even though we reserved for 3 people, we were only given two pool towels. Our room was in the main building and the door to enter the building was left open, so traveling with kids, I had some safety concerns. Pool was clean. Walk to town was reasonable. Paid about $400 with taxes and fees for a summer weekday.

While we were there. The air conditioner wasn’t working. The temperature made it so that it wasn’t a priority. Although we asked to have it fixed but for some reason it didn’t happen without a reason

This was my second time staying at Cape Colony Inn and I really enjoyed it again. The room was super spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean and well kept. I had a small issue with the bathtub, but it was fixed quickly, which I really appreciated. The young woman who checked me in was very nice and professional she gave me all the info I needed. There was another staff member who could be a bit friendlier, but overall, the experience was great. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Nice hotel for a get away

Great hotel. Never used the pool which is why we chose it but the location was great. We walked to town one day then rented bikes for the duration. It was easy to get around. Nice continental breakfast in the morning with coffee for free. Fire pits for night.

Had a really great time at this property with family. The staff was very charming and polite. Since this was my first time in the area the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating in answering all the questions I had. The prices were a bit high for the size of the room, but I found out later it was a very busy week of the year so that may have explained the high prices for one night.

Reasonably priced, large rooms on well kept grounds, close enough to downtown Provincetown to stroll to Commercial street and downtown. The room was very clean and pleasant, with two comfortable beds, all the necessary amenities, a nice bathroom and attention to detail in the simple but well done decor. The pool was very nice plus, with plenty of lounge chairs, there was a fire pit for the evenings and the staff was gracious and efficient. I would recommend for an affordable stay in town with room for kids to play, and a great choice that won’t break the bank.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay. Easier to get into Ptown than expected because of free summer shuttle and pedicabs. Walk doable but long. Good breakfast. Guests included families with children as well as het and queer couples. On-property activities like pool, firepit, shuffleboard.
