We had booked a two-night stay, but we only ended up spending one night. We discovered a more comfortable hotel nearby. The first room we had had thin windows, allowing us to hear the traffic from a busy street. Consequently, we switched to another room. The shower head had cold water running, the beds were uncomfortable, the door handle kept falling off, and the breakfast was bland. I ended up not eating my breakfast. It was also so unusual to feel like the only guests in the hotel.

I recently spent my birthday at this hotel while traveling to Puebla, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel looks just as pictured—if not even nicer. The staff were very kind and helpful, especially Sandra and Alex, Elinea who went out of their way to give us directions and great recommendations on where to go. Their hospitality really made the stay special. I would definitely come back and spend more time here

very nice restoration of this old house and definitively a wonder to stay in Puebla. The only "bad" is the noise of traffic. The Hotel is near a very transited avenue and noise at night on Friday was bothering me to get some sleep. However, ask for a room that avoids this and you will have a good time

Restaurant was very nice, but only open for breakfast and lunch. The room was a little musty until I ran the AC. This is not uncommon for historic buildings. Very nice staff and a great place to stay for the price.

The hotel building is very beautiful as it is decorated with Talavera in a colonial style. It has elevator which was very helpful because with people on wheelchair. The people was very helpful and provided us all the attention to have a great stay in Puebla. Totally recommended!

Gorgeous building, beautiful room, super clean, great staff and breakfast was delicious in the wonderful courtyard. Rooftop area was fab, even if it was off season and the bar wasn't open.

Hotel is very nice but a recent change in ownership meant they were short staffed - buffett breakfast hotelwebsite & Expedia mentions on weekends doesn't exist, bar closed - something we were excited to visit. First room AC not working but the pleasant, helpful staff moved us to a new room . Very comfortable and clean.
