The tent was unbearable! At first look, they are lovely. However, the noise of the nearby highway combined with wind flapping the tent, kept us up ALL night. We forfeited a night and left early which cut our weekend getaway in half. We didn't get to do the sight seeing we had planned for Sunday and we were all exhausted Saturday so we didn't even enjoy our trip. I slept almost 12 hours when I got home after not being able to sleep in the tent. I have camped A LOT, and I have never had such a terrible night's sleep. The property is nice, the facilities are clean, the beds were super comfortable with nice bedding, and there is nice scenery. However, none of that matters when you can't sleep. The only way to make this work is with a sound machine and an eye mask (due to abundant ambient light).

Highly recommend this property for your stay near Canon City. The cabins were great. Easy to visit Royal Gorge, outdoor activities and a quick 10-12 minutes to Canon City. The gas log fireplace, kitchen, bbq grill…all nice!

The tents are amazing so cute, clean and just awesome! Coffee maker, towels, showers and the bathrooms were all top quality! Clean, modern and full service!! We will definitly be going back and would recommend to anyone! Individual fire pits, out door dining, and to top if off the scenery is stunning!

Quaint modern cabin with a view

The cabin itself was excellent and was exactly what we expected with one small exception. The kitchen was extremely small and did not provide all the cookware necessary to cook proper meals. For the cost per night, I wish I had rented a place with a full kitchen and an area to sit and eat versus the coffee table.

Cute, cozy little cabin that was super clean. Very comfortable beds and pillows. On our patio we sat by the fire watching two dear right in front of us. We played bags with a beautiful Mountain View in the background. Restaurant across the way was amazing! We listened to some live music as the sunset went down. Great place to stay

We stayed in the Bootlegger cabin, which was somewhat detached and nicely secluded from the other cabins. The place was immaculate, and had all of your household needs- everything was in top shape and perfect working order. The area around the unit was genuinely perfect. The only thing here that needs to be made clear to other visitors is that there is a highway nearby. When it’s quiet, it’s very quiet, but at the busier points in the day it can be a little noisy. I would definitely come back- sad we had to leave.

Everything was perfect! Beds were comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. Clean, beautifully decorated. Nice people. Easy check-in and check-out. Love the indoor outdoor fireplace. Had coffee on the patio in the morning with the local deer. Community firepit is a great addition. Very peaceful. Highly recommend!!
