This mavbe my most enjoyable stay ever in a hotel. I have never been in a hotel where absolutely everybody was so polite, friendly and engaed in creating a memorable experience for the guests. The owner of the hotel personally took me on an excursion which was so exciting and so thoughtful. All the team knew my name and tretaed me like a member of rheir famiy. The hotel was well maintained, located on (and my room overlooked) a great beach and the food was perfect! I will stay here again

Barcelo Tambor was so impressive, especially the food selection. All grounds and staff were over the top. I highly recommend this exceptional Costa Rican vacation destination.

Excellent stay

Rooms are very spacious, beds were super comfortable. It’s a 4-minute walk to the ocean. Breakfast was good not great, and the pool is small but awesome. People were great and helpful. Would definitely go back here.

Beautiful rooms and area. Lovely and quiet. One note to mention, the beach across the road is not the crystal blue waters as the sand is dark. It’s also a busy area for fishing so we didn’t swim. There’s some nice restaurants within walking distance and a great grocery store.
