It was the worst experience we had. The place was old, lack of maintenance, peeling paint, falling molding and dirty. The white curtain already turned into grey color. The bathroom light fixture has multiple dead flies inside. The shower has an used soap from previous people. The ad with hot top was a small container of muddy water. Hotel.com should remove this property from the website.
The hotel was once top notch probably in the 1980's but now it's completely outdated. The carpets were soiled, the bathroom tiles were old and cracked and not very clean. The room is very basic with old outdated furniture. The floors squeaked when you walked on them and you could hear everyone upstairs. There was no coffee maker. At least the shower was hot. The front desk staff were extremely nice and helpful. I just wouldn't return because the hotel is too old.
This hotel is not centrally located; however, it takes only 15 minutes to get to the downtown area on foot where you can find a lot of shops and restaurants. The hotel room is fairly clean and comfort and breakfast is good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a good stay in Puerto Montt.
Good hotel, I arrived late and was let in without any fuss. Breakfast is good with a variety of food. Room was cold as radiators turned off by default but you can turn these on yourself. It's a few blocks from the centre but that means it is quiet for sleeping. Wi-Fi was very good. Staff were helpful.
Bathroom was small cupboard. Jacuzzi in garden was unavailable unless we booked and there was an additional charge. Www were told we could use it by 9pm when it would be too cold outside for our liking.
I only stayed for one night, but it was good. The room was clean and as expected.
The staff is excellent. I had to purchase new luggage and leave it for pickup later - they were very helpful in providing advice. They even called my next hotel to help make arrangements for me!
This is a very nice family run hotel. If you are looking for a place where they offer you personal service, this is it.
1. First of all, she charged me much less than what was coated on Hotels.com because, I was traveling alone.
2. I had some questions about public transportation in that part of the country. She did not have an answer but, she did her research and next day she came back with written answers to all my questions.
3. I left my iPhone and camera at a police station in city of xxxx. Her assistant called them to verify if it was there. Then she made an arrangement for me to go and pick them up the same night.
4. I lost my reading glasses, she told me where to go and buy one for less than $10.00
If you want real service and personal care, this is the place.
I stayed there for a total of 7 nights at three different times. I will recommend it to anyone and I will stay there again and again anytime.
The outside looks worn but the inside was spotless. The facilities are dated but very clean. It was a good place to stop at the end of the day, it was a short walk to the shops and waterfront.
The service at this hotel is beyond anything I've ever experienced. They were so helpful with arranging a tour for us to see the surrounding area, even though we hadn't arranged anything beforehand. Also the room was really nice, and the breakfast was good too!
This is a pretty nice place, in spite of being in Puerto Montt. Our room was spacious and well-lit, with a wonderfully comfortable bed. The staff was also very friendly. Only downside was that there was construction going on right above our room. The hotel is a bit of a walk (10 min?) from downtown, but I'm not sure I would have wanted to be downtown anyway.
