This is a super relaxing 5 Star resort (Maid, Butler Turn down service, golf cart pick up etc.) if you want excitement and partying this place is NOT for you! But, if you are looking to relax and talk to people at the swim up bar and be Pam pampered THIS IS IT! Also if you sit through a presentation to join they give you couples massage or free trip to an excursion… We enjoy this resort immensely.

The Grand Residences did not disappoint! Everything was perfect. The service, the staff, the food, were all amazing! This place has a laid back atmosphere, and that was exactly what I was looking for. No loud music, no unwanted sales' pitches for the time share. It was great!!! Will definitely consider returning in the future.

The property is nice and settled in a very quiet area. I wish they had more nightly activities for adults. Those options may come available when they finish their expansion project. I didn’t like that I felt obligated to attend a 1.5 hour presentation for their vacation package. I didn’t have to attend one at a resort I stayed in the DR. So that took away from my beach time that I needed. Otherwise the staff was kind and the property was great for a quick getaway trip. I would definitely go back when they finish expanding their property.

Resort and staff were great. Only complaint is that they only have 2 restaurants. Need more food choices. But staff from the housekeepers, pool waiters and restaurant chefs amd staff. Everyone was great.

For the first night we stayed in a room with double beds. For the remainder of the stay we were “upgraded” to a room with 1 king bed. It was not cleaned as well as the previous room. It also did not have some of the same amenities within the room that the previous room had, and the sinks in the bathroom were not draining well. I let the concierge know about this and the issue was never fixed. The food is TERRIBLE. Room service takes an hour or more to be delivered. There is a bar at the pool and within the pool area there is another bar, but they only stay open until 5pm. They pressure you into going to one of their timeshare presentations for “discounted” excursions and experiences. We made the mistake of participating in this, and it took up more of our time than I would have wished for on our vacation. They are also very pushy. My biggest issue with the hotel is the lack of consistency information you are given. My husband and I missed an excursion, and we let them know ahead of time that we likely wouldn’t make it. We were told our tickets would be good for a year or that we could get a voucher/certificate to enjoy the same excursion within a year. We were then told AFTER the excursion was missed that it wasn’t possible. Then after spending most of our last day there talking with staff, and also talking with staff at check-out they agreed to email a voucher. The first “voucher” that was sent did not even have the name spelled correctly. Another one was sent that did n

We arrived at the resort fairly early and they advised us our room would be ready around 2pm. Ended up waiting 4 Hours in the lobby for our room to finally be ready. The resort makes it seem like there are 5 restaurants but there are only 1 split into two sides and each night you have two cuisine options to choose from. The food is the same just different sauces added to the menu to make it seem different. The drinks were not great most of them were filled with flavored syrup. There is limited entertainment for the guest and for this time of the year the resort was fairly empty. The concierge your assigned hounds you all day for you to come to an orientation for timeshares. I told her no from day one but was asked each time she saw me. Room service was slow we asked for ice in the room and got it 2 hours later. We asked for a late checkout and were told no because other guests needed the room yet we waited 4 hours for our room when we arrived. We got no one to help us bring our luggage out of our room we had to do it ourselves. The only good thing I enjoyed from my vacation was the weather. The resort is extremely small there isn’t much to do except pool, beach and eat.
