The staff outside of the checkout process was amazing, the place is clean, it is quiet near the rooms and a great time at pool area. Now back to checking and out.. checkin had to reserve 2 restaurants on arrival they told us they couldn’t fit us in as it was booked but if we did the seminar they could get us in. So when we got to the restaurant it was only 4 tables occupied, with at least 15 empty tables. That was it for check in. After we did the seminar we got 150 in credits to be applied at checkout. They didn’t want to deal with them and tried to say it would take to much time to apply them. But had to pressure them into it.. that was the only 2 bad things. My advice tell them you have no time for that seminar.. and take yourself to the restaurant and check yourself in and enjoy your time as that is why you came.!

The property itself was excellent, very clean, very quiet. It’s basically a brand new resort and the staff, for the most part we’re very courteous and professional. There were a few waiters with attitudes and service could be slow at times, but other than that, it was very nice stay. However, couple of things were a negative for me. One, this resort does not have a beach and I would’ve never booked here had I known that. beforehand. Also, it’s way out in the middle of nowhere and getting there you have to take pothole dirt roads, and it’s a very long drive from Cancun airport, probably 45 minutes or so depending on traffic. So if you’re looking for nightlife off of the resort, you will not find it because you’re literally out in the middle of nowhere! Two, “buyer beware” if you decide to book an excursion with their on site booking service. We booked the the Isle Mujeres tour. They told us they were running a promotion special that day two for one. We thought it was a pretty good deal so we booked it. Little did we know that the two for one was contingent upon you showing up for their timeshare sales promotions and sitting through an hour of high-pressure sales to buy into their timeshares and travel packages. And if you didn’t sit through their one hour sales promotion, then you had to pay the balance of the two for one excursion. To me this is a low-life, sneaky used car salesman tactic! I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I will never stay there again!

This was a beautiful property to stay at while in Mexico. The food choices were very good. We had some of the best shrimp that we’ve ever had at an all-inclusive. They also had a wonderful coffee shop! The bed was comfortable and the pillows were OK, but the balcony and the view were wonderful! The only negative was the fact that they do not have a beach…And to get off of the property you have to take a taxi which is pretty expensive. they do offer tours though. But other than that, it was a wonderful stay! Everyone at the facility was friendly, and helpful and able to communicate without any difficulties. The pools and the entertainment were great!

Very limited activities. We enjoy more than just a pool and swim up bar. I like the resorts that have shows and other activities on site to enjoy. Very limited food choices and mostly cold or Luke warm. Overall it was an average resort and we have had alit more fun for same dollars at other properties.

The staff is super friendly and very welcoming. Shoutout to Angelo from the entertainment team, he was amazing, welcoming and super friendly. Jose from the concierge team was super helpful. The food options were great, we enjoyed every plate we had. However, if you are looking for a resort to party 24/7, this isn’t the place for you. This place is very fun and they have different types entertainment throughout the day but it is also very peaceful and quiet. It has a little bit of both! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and if we go back to Cancun, we will definitely be staying here!

The staff were AMAZING! The activities that Nicole, Angelo, Angel, and Marcely put on were amazing! Erick at the License to chill bar/restaurant was so nice and helpful. Not to mention the food was amazing, there were lots of options, the drinks were also delicious, and the spaces were all very clean. The shuffleboard/pickleball courts were super fun and cool, and there were lots of activities to choose from each day if you wanted to! Overall an AWESOME stay!

For VIP I am like you said, our room was that last no view a lot to that pool or ocean. Last year we visited Puerto Vallarta for first time as well they treat us so perfect with a beautiful view, workers were so amazing. But and your hotel first night and that lounge bartender was so rude with my husband and he was treating more attention to American guest we are Latinos, and I believe I need same treatment.

Overall, we really enjoyed this property. The rooms, staff, service and cleanliness were outstanding. Variety of food was great and the food was good. A few things we expected and were offered in the site info were complimentary flip flops and a larger range of brand alcohol. People who had gone on the Facebook site came prepared. Wish we had done that. It was still a great vacation. We are not interested in joining their “timeshare” plan and the hotel’s insistence on going through sales concierge to make dining reservations seemed unnecessary. We were given a very late reservation at the steakhouse on our last day. But, we followed other guest advice and showed up earlier and were seated promptly. In true Jimmy Buffet style this is both a party environment as well as a laid back place depending on which pool you spend your time. The place is beautiful at night and we were surprised that there was no outdoor music venue other than a dj at the big pool during the day.

It's a lovely newer resort, very clean and well maintained. Our WestJet package didn’t include the airport transfer so we had to make last minute taxi arrangements at the airport. There is no beach, not all bars had international alcohol and some of the concierge team lost interest in helping us once we rejected the privilege club information tour.

NO BEACH!!!!!! HORRIBLE! NO 5 STAR EXPERIENCE!!!!Misleading Beach and Poor Service – Not a 5-Star Experience! I stayed at Margaritaville and was extremely disappointed by the misleading information and poor service. Upon check-in, no one informed us that we would be given a different room category than the one we had booked. We reserved a Paradise Swim-Up room but were assigned an Infinity Swim-Up room instead. If this was supposed to be an "upgrade," it should have been communicated to us. I didn’t like the Infinity room, so we had to move to the correct room the next day, which was much more beautiful. But what really ruined our stay was the lack of access to the beach. The hotel advertises a beautiful beach, but when we arrived, there was barely any beach access, and the one available was closed. I complained to the manager, showing him the Expedia photos that clearly show a beach. First, his colleague tried to claim the beach belonged to the nearby hotel, and then the manager said it was Expedia’s fault, not the hotel's. I was told to call Expedia if I wanted a day pass to the other hotel, which was absurd! This was clearly misleading, and the hotel knows it. And if the stairs to the beach were damaged due to the Hurricane and they have another hotel 1miles away with a beach, why then await that the guest now has to pay a day pass for 125$? Shouldn't this be complimentary? Really ridiculous behavior from the hotel!!!! They should have told us in advance what is going on
