The staff is amazing here! So friendly, accommodating and willing to go the extra mile to make sure your stay is everything you want it to be! This was an amazing resort with top notch food and service. Shout out to Luis at the Secrets pool for his “spicy” pool exercise class! The plus one experience was amazing and the little details in the hotel room like all lighting can be controlled once you get into bed, was well thought out. Comfortable beds and each restaurant had great food!

We stayed in a swim out VIP room. The amount of noise all night long was insane. The employees push these carts around that have squeaky wheels and then bash into the doors repeatedly. They also had some sort of break room right outside our room and they yelled to eachother and joked all night, which kept us up every night -the beach is disgusting with deep nasty seaweed so bad they don’t attempt to clear it. And it stinks. -there is only one restaurant and pool on the secrets side. Both are packed and it’s almost impossible to get a chair by the pool or a seat in the restraint. -our VIP butler, called once and did nothing for us. -on the dreams side where all the restaurants are, it’s difficult to get a table between 5-9. Only one takes reservations. If you don’t book it between midnight and 12:06am you won’t get a reservation. -we’ve been all over Mexico and the Caribbean. This was by far the worst, noisiest, poorly managed resort we’ve stayed at in the last 20 years. I Highly recommend NOT wasting your money.

Ramirez & Samuel are the best at making this property so amazing! Irma at checkin was so helpful and attentive. Jesus at the Secrets bar not only made the best drinks but also felt like family. These people go above and beyond everytime I visit, the facilities are always clean and staff is always so welcoming. Food is great and drinks are delicious (staff is trained to not over serve you). If you prefer to party stay at Breathless side if you prefer to relax stay at Secrets and if you love both still stay at Secrets because you get access to both. Thanks to everyone at the resort for again making the best experience possible!

We enjoyed the beautiful room and benefits of high quality liquor choices in the preferred lounge. We were disappointed in the food choices and consistency of portions and quality. Room service options were very limited and the app rarely worked while on the property.Service was also sporadic. Overall I would choose other Secret’s properties over this one.
