Disappointed and Misled – Not a Luxury Experience
We recently stayed at this resort expecting a luxury experience, but unfortunately, it fell far short in almost every category. While the staff was generally friendly, it's clear they are not trained in delivering the level of service that should come with a “luxury” label.
Food & Beverage:
The food was consistently sub-par, with several meals arriving undercooked. Drinks were a major letdown—weak, watered-down, and often tasted artificial. Shockingly, there was no food service available at the pool, a basic amenity at most upscale resorts.
Amenities & Restrictions:
You’re given one towel per person at the pool—no exceptions. Similarly, only one Wi-Fi password per person, and it only works on one device. In 2025, that’s simply unacceptable. These kinds of nickel-and-dime policies are frustrating, especially when you're paying premium prices.
Dining Experience & Discrimination:
Making reservations at their few restaurants is a must—but good luck getting one. If you don’t, you're stuck at the outdoor buffet, sweating in the heat with little shade and mediocre food. Adding to the frustration, men are held to a strict dinner dress code (long pants and closed-toe shoes), which was not disclosed during booking, while women were allowed to dine in bathing suits. The inconsistency felt discriminatory and disrespectful, especially when we were denied entry for dress code reasons while others were clearly allowed in without issue.
