The place was beautiful and comfortable. I had a family situation which had nothing to do with the property. The staff went out of their way to help with any issue we were facing. Though they were young, their maturity and professionalism were above and beyond.

This place was just ok. There is not much to do inside and there is no AC besides the rooms and the rooms looked outdated. The food amd drinks were not that great and the bed and covers were really bad. The entertainment amd staff were great.

Pros: Gorgeous private beach, all inclusive, 20 minutes from the airport, ok drinks, they give you a little bottle of rum, which is a nice touch, the female bartender by the beach bar was so sweet, clean, fairly nice staff, has a spa, nice pools with pool bar. Close to a mall and mini golf course. Cons: The food is inedible. It was just awful. The staff was nice, but some of the male employees either hit on me directly or commented on my appearance, which made me uncomfortable. I was traveling alone, which made it even more inappropriate for them to constantly comment on my body or asking me if I’m single. Beach towels weren’t available a lot do the times, the beds are rock hard, the pillows are super old and worn out, the facilities clearly need updating. The restaurants weren’t available for most of my stay. They just provided a buffet with a few options that, as I said, were absolutely inedible. I can eat almost anything but I had a to spit back out a lot of the stuff. I hate to speak negatively like this but I wasn’t even sure what I was eating was safe. Also, their check out is at noon, which is great, but the cleaning staff was incessantly banging on my door at 9:30am. It was also quite loud at night with construction and cleaning staff chattering super loudly outside of my room. Internet was very spotty, and the tv could barely be used. They also keep trying to sell you a time share, which was annoying.

We stayed at the BlueBay All-Inclusive Resort, and I typically don't take the time to leave reviews, but our experience was so poor that I feel compelled to share it to prevent others from going through the same.Upon arrival, the front desk staff was unfriendly, unprepared, and seemed annoyed to be doing their job. When we got to our room, our keys didn’t work right after check-in. The air conditioning barely functioned, the fan glass was missing, and the fan was so unbalanced that it rocked and made noise. I had to take a cold shower because, after 20 minutes, the water never got hot.The maintenance and cleanliness of the resort could use significant improvement. They advertise as all-inclusive but charge for some basic drinks. The food was just okay. Our flight was delayed, which caused us to extend our stay by three days. We only stayed at BlueBay because there were no available rooms at other nearby resorts. During this process, I specifically mentioned that we were on a tour and asked if we could check out and check in again, paying for any expenses we may have incurred, like thebspa treatment. They obliged but seemed unaware of the procedure. After a long day of tours, I was woken up by the maid at 10 PM, followed by a call from the front desk 30 minutes later, demanding that I bring my credit card to the front desk. Great Hotel

Hotel is nice for Puerto Plata. The rooms are comfortable, the pools are dope, the service is great and the entertainment at night is fun. It being a hotel from Spain don’t expect Dominican cuisine. The food is not to my liking but if you’re from Europe you might like it.
