Location was great! We had a penthouse and it was very run down. Hot water was an issue for first few days of our trip. They moved our room and the second room had the same issues. Staff was very friendly but won’t be back just because the facility sub par.

Such a great time. The manager, Arturo was amazing. He really cared and made sure we had a good stay at the hotel. At the beach, David and Luis were amazing. Such hard workers. They really care about the Blue Chairs business at the beach and the hotel. The location is great. Close to literally everything. Super safe. Never had any issues. Loved our room. We will stay here again.

I've stayed at Blue chairs three times and it is a great property to stay at. The holel could definitely use a remodeling and updates, but overall, it is a great property to stay at. The staff is amazing and very attentive and they will address and resolve any issues that arise. The ocean view rooms are simply breath talking. I don't think that there are any hotels that rival those views for the price.

Old , but beautiful and immaculately clean. The staff was exceptional, courteous, so helpful, absolutely friendly, and loving! Can say enough about the staff. The room was larger than necessary, the bedding was exceptional, and the daily cleaning was superb. Like I said, I can't say enough about the staff, such great people!

The property itself needs some updating here and there but the staff is awesome they have dining on the beach access to the beach chairs felt very welcoming and inviting and the hot water in both bathrooms was very hot daily housekeeping service by Janet who was awesome and the manager Arturo helped us with anything we need to help with definitely will be staying here again

The location is perfect, most in walking distance. The room overlooking the ocean was breathtaking. The main pool and plunge pools were refreshing and clean. The staff super helpful. Overall I would highly recommend staying at The Blue Chairs.

I had a great stay at this property and heartily recommend it. I want to give 5 stars all around, but there are a few "quirks" to note. First, it is an older building and even recent updates have not fixed things like sizeable cracks between the door and frame of the room. The bathroom features a waterfall shower head, which is code for really low water pressure. It did get very warm after a bit, though. The other thing I never realized I needed on vacation is a fridge. There was no easy way to acquire water or other refreshments and if you did walk to the Oxxo a few blocks away, there was no way to keep them cold. Even the cheapest chain hotels in the US have mini fridges, and quite often microwaves and coffee makers. I really missed the fridge, so much that I might reconsider staying here on the next visit, or at least see about bringing a collapsible cooler. Now the good stuff: it's right on the beach and they have lounge chairs and umbrellas already set up; it's literally the gay beach; it's within walking distance of nearly everything you need or the starting point of most of the organized tours to the surrounding sites. And last but not least, the staff were all super helpful and had a good knowledge of English for when your Spanish fails you. Again, recommended, but with caveats.
