Very average in all areas. Average food, even in the "premium" restaurants. AC not great. Room condition was "worn". Poor bathroom design (always water in the floor). Long walk from lobby and/or main restaurant and pool to the room. The best part of the resort was the staff. Very friendly and helpful, especially the bell staff.

The hotel is clean with great amenities and the service is great with friendly staff. The food has good depth of flavour and the buffet restaurant has a great view of the main pool and bar. The satellite restaurants are great options and it’s a great location in the hotel zone reasonably close to the Melacon and downtown. The WIFI is excellent the best that I have ever had in a resort. It is close to a lot of great choices for message. The hours of operation on the bar is good and breakfast buffet till 1130am is great for those that sleep in a bit. It was nice to see nightly entertainment for adults. This is my sixth trip to Puerto Vallarta in my life time and my first time here at Canto Del Sol and I would stay here again in a heartbeat !! Thank you for a great vacation. It’s always hard to return to home after time away in paradise. ❤️
