Likes: property is small enough to feel welcoming and grounds well maintained. Food is ok. Room was more challenging. We were upgraded as per Expedia VIP to a “Club” level room BUT without Club level amenities. Which aren’t that much, but the upper level infinity pool is cool. But nope unless we paid $47 per person per night!! Room: keys didn’t work; said they would change the lock batteries; didn’t happen so we were locked out if our room next day coming back from pool. Room: pillows smelled of bad BO and had to be changed. Beach: no seaweed, very clean and walkable, lots of lounge chairs with little huts for shade. Only con was of the 4 beach showers only one was in working order. People: mostly are nice.

Our experience was disappointing. The staff was not friendly or welcoming, and the rooms were outdated and in need of renovation. We were made to wait and had to sit in rooms that were not properly prepared. Overall, the service and environment did not meet expectations.

We stayed 5 nights at the Fiesta Americana. 5/5 location -15 minutes from the airport. 3/5 for food variety/quality- the Asian restaurant and Mexican restaurant were great, the Italian was ok. 3/5 for things to do- we did a couples massage which was fabulous and yoga and pilates in the morning. We did not have good wifi at all in our room during the trip. We also had to ask for bottle water a few times. My boyfriend was on a knee scooter and the hotel was accessible for him. Shout out to Israel, sous chef at the Asian restaurant put together a special sushi dinner for us. And the pool concierge, Danae was always very helpful and friendly.

Enjoyed the location for quick taxi ride for different touristic destinations. Smaller property, and it was under construction when we went so that was a bummer because the swim up bar was closed. Wish they had a variety of music because I felt like I was in the USA…. Not in Mexico.. overall a good experience! The employees care about your feedback and they’re very hard working!

This was our third time and the food didn’t seem as good. Also our Netflix never worked in our room. We asked the front desk and she said yes you need to connect to the internet for it to work but you can’t.” We didn’t understand that. Overall the resort is beautiful line always. I just wish the food was better.
