Excellent customer service. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We love the peace & quiet as the hotel is located in a more exclusive part of the city. Easy to take an Uber to the other parts of PVR like the Malecon or Zona Romantica. The Marina offers a selection of shops & restaurants (especially healthy ones) & a Starbucks accessible from the hotel. Proximity to the airport is also a huge plus as traffic can be unpredictable.

Terrible experience at the hotel. Immediately after we got our room key, we were stuck in an elevator for around 15 minutes in the pitch black. The call button for help did not work. We couldn’t get on the wifi. We had to call home to Canada for a friend to let the hotel front desk know we were stuck in the elevator. Hotel staff rescued us by prying the elevator doors open and helped us climb up a wall 5’ high. Hotel only offered us 10% discount to their all inclusive rate which we turned down. Our room was dirty, 1/3 electricity sockets worked and was super finicky, the couch looked like it belonged in a homeless encampment, the shower handle fell right off every time we touched it, shower drain was clogged and flooded when we showered, super noisy from the other guests. We asked for an upgrade or an alternative room. They didn’t allow us to change rooms. We booked a free shuttle to the beach and was waiting for the shuttle. No shuttle came. Then we asked the front desk and they said shuttle not running today. They failed to mention shuttle would not run when we booked the shuttle the night before.

Al llegar el elevador no funciono durante 2 días y dos de mis acompañantes son de la 3ra edad, una persona empleaba bastón. Falta personal en cocina, se ven rebasados, y durante varios días se observo que la limpieza de platos, utensilios y tazas no era a fondo. La cantidad de camastro no es ni el 10 % de la capacidad instalada, durante jamás pude usar alguno, nunca estaban libres, se contaba con un reglamento pero nunca se aplico. Había personas que nunca se sentaron pero no permitían su uso. Espero que se mejore.

Property was rustic but nice. Property grounds are well maintained and the staff was very friendly. All inclusive package included food and beverages, including house alcohol, and pool access.

I have a frequent guest of the hotel for more than 15 years. My plane was delayed and I requested a change of reservation to the next night. The Hotel refused and did not refund my payment for the unspent night. No customer loyalty here. Don’t stay at the Flamingo Marina Vallarta.
