Unique grand old Mexican house with many interesting design features. May be difficult for those with mobility issues because of the many stairways. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful staff. Beautiful views from balconies.

Wonderfully eclectic and authentic feel. The open air courtyard made waking up lovely, though if you wanted silence I would recommend closing your patio doors and windows since you can hear activity pretty easily. Staff was very kind and helpful. If you want to use the hot tub you need to let them know beforehand so they can heat it up. Location was a close walk to everything without being right in the middle of it all.

We stayed for 4 days in mid January in the Marquese suite. Its a hike up the stairs but the room was very nice. Beds very comfy , the big windows open up to the outside so its like being in the trees. No screens but no bugs either. Staff was very accommodating. The included breakfast was fresh and made to order. The building is secure with locks on all the outside entry points. There is a coffee shop and bodega right next door for snacks and supplies. At first the streets appeared a bit rough but after a day you can get around easily and we never felt unsafe. Lots of restaurant options locally with some right over the bridge. The jazz restaurant has music till ten and after that its pretty quite. There is a city bus stop right at the main corner down the street. We used Uber which was easy to get and reasonable in price. Really no need for a rental car. It was our first trip to PV but we are looking to go again. We met many US and Canadians there on winter holiday. Great food scene and beach is just down the street.

Loved the uniqueness of this boutique hotel. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We visited the sister hotel, Riviera del Rio, and enjoyed their infinity pool and views which was a nice perk. We enjoyed our welcome drinks and snack and we enjoyed our upgraded room. Loved the convenience of the location- close to the Malécon and the old town and right by the cat island!

There was nothing bad to say about this hotel. It was an absolutely charming oasis in the middle of the romantic zone in Puerto Vallarta. It’s sister hotel had a gorgeous pool. The staff at both hotels were absolutely incredible. Everything was incredibly clean and thoughtful.

Average property. The room we stayed was average. Property needs to get upgraded. Location is good close to zona romantico. plenty of restaurants walking distance. This was the only reason we stayed in this location. We were not at the property most of the time. We did a lot of excursions. So it was only used for shower and sleeping. Now that I know of other properties around in this location. I would choose another hotel.

Interesting Boutique Hotel

Loved our check-in, as we were offered an Expedia welcome drink, along with great guacamole and chips. Front desk staff was friendly and the room we booked was large, beyond what we expected and imagined. Great for our needs and 1-night stay. One thing to consider, as a boutique hotel, the building has an interesting and unique layout. No elevators, but lots of steps and stairs to navigate throughout.
