The hotel was not very secure. Mickey Mouse lock on the door and having 3 young guys with head to toe tatoos knock on the door and just eyeball the room and walk away had quite a restless night. Booked for 7 nights, stayed for 1 and the hotel refused to refund the balance. Stay away!

Great little hotel, beside Parque Hidalgo, and a church. Close to shopping, restaurants, buses and taxis, and ocean 2 blocks away. Clean room, with balcony, great shower. The church bells, which we were already aware of, start around 6:00 am, but you get used to them after a couple of months. LOL. First time here, won't be the last.

Basic hotel for people that are not fussy.

I don't require fancy things. This hotel is basic, but the location was very good. It's close to Ley supermarket, the Malecon, restaurants, etc. It's beside a church. Bring earplugs for the church bells, otherwise you might not be able to sleep. I would stay there again.

I love the location. Walking distance to Malecon, 20 minutes walk to the Romantic Zone, for example. Safe, simple and clean place to spend the night. Everyone was so nice and welcoming that it made it feel like home. Nadia (I believe this is her name) is super nice and helpful. I would totally stay again in this hotel!

I'm not too fussy about hotels but this stay inspired me to write a review. To be fair the bed was comfortable, the area safe and the woman at the desk was lovely but the condition of the room was unacceptable. The sliding door to the little balcony was broken and required the two of us yarding on it aggressively to get it to move. As it was, there really wasn't much point in opening it as the hose from the AC unit was dripping steadily onto the balcony. The one electrical outlet in the room was loose in the wall with no cover plate. There was a frayed bath mat covering the shower drain, I lifted it to reveal clouds of tiny ants scurrying around the drain and clinging to the towel. It turned out that there was no need to uncover the drain as there was no hot water to shower, although we did recover the drain once we realized an unpleasant odour was emanating from it and drifting through the bathroom. Returning to the room later in the evening, we though to console ourselves and perhaps find a bright side to our stay and make our way up to the rooftop deck. Glimpses of greenery waving in a soft breeze and a thatched roof had hope stirring in my breast but alas, the stairway was securely gated, reserving the deck for an unoccupied penthouse suite. We are feeling very grateful that we were only here for a night.

Wanna suffer with NO AC, stay here!!

Two nights of no AC in room and two days of bringing it to their attention. In addition to no AC, there was no toilet seat in the bathroom and also a leak coming from sink in bathroom. Finally after yelling at the front desk the 3rd day did they agree to over me to a room that had a working AC, now the AC still didnt really cool that great, and then also a missign toilet seat in the new room as well. Spotty WIFI didnt improve thing either. I would not stay here again and suggest others avoid it.
