Terrible staff service from receptionist. She was very rude.The day shift bellboy was very sweet and gave us good service . Hotel is old and not what i expected from pictures. Bed only had a thin sheet and when i requested a blanket the receptionist said they didnt have any. I did not received vip perks Will not stay here again. Location is good but its not worth the terrible experience.

We didnt get the room we booked (it was supposed to be two doubles and it only had one but since it was just the two if us and we were exhausted i didnt bother with asking to change). The room was very small. The air conditioning turna off when you leave the room so its crazy hot when you come back. Only a top aheet provided on the bed with a runner along the bottom and 3 pillows.

We have stayed here at least 10 times. It is clean, modern, economical, fairly well kept, the staff are nice, you can park for free in their covered parking, they will give you bagged ice, a great beach is a short walk away, there are plenty of bars and restaurants around, its only a few blocks from the Malecon and you have a huge local grocery/department store right across the street which has everything at a good price. Its not the fanciest, and doesn't have a bar or a restaurant, but it doesn't need one. Almost forgot; they have a wonderful full buffet breakfast up on the roof, by the pool, every morning. The people who operate it are incredible! They provide excellent food and service. Its always a wonderful start to our day. Please don't forget to leave them a tip, they work hard and deserve it ; )

I work remote and their WiFi does not work properly and I couldn’t get a straight answer from them also check in was at 3pm my room was not ready until 430pm. The bell staff was great and knowledgeable the only reason I don’t give them a flat 1 star

The important thing to remember here is that you get what you pay for. I will say that the hotel was incredibly clean and the staff was very friendly never had any issues with them. The hotel is older so things aren't going to be like a five-star resort hotel. The AC worked I had a TV and I had a shower I didn't fly to Mexico to stay in my room the entire time. The beds are extremely firm but when you've been drinking tequila all week who really cares. Everything is within walking distance or a very short Uber trip. The souvenir shops around the area may hassle you to come in and buy something that you can always say no. A million different options for food within steps away.
