Overall the place was charming, in a great location for those who like to be close to great restaurants, the malacon etc., and good value for the money. It was clean, reasonably comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff. However, the pool was not deep enough to swim in - basically just a dipping pool - and while there were umbrellas beside the pool-side lounge chairs, they did not provide adequate protection against the sun for moments when I just wanted to laze around for a bit and read a book.
Another minor drawback was the bathroom. First, there was about a 6" step to get into the bathroom, which could be a problem for someone with mobility issues. Secondly, the water pressure in the shower was so light, it was little more than a sprinkle.
