This was a BIG come back from our last vacation. RIU Palace is an EXCELLENT place to stay at!! 5+ Star for sure. If you’re thinking about staying here, do it, you will not regret it. Beautiful resort. Food was good. The pools were all very hot. Bath water hot. I wanted to cool off and drink a margarita but the pools were uncomfortable. No cooling off unless you are inside. Even the spa pools are hot. The ocean there is just as hot. The ocean water is brown and you can’t see through it which is creepy. They have something every night which is fun, but it’s so hot.

One of the best RIU properties. I stayed in the updated/upgrades elite rooms and decorum and service was top notch. The property is being sits right on the beach. Food was extra delicious. Would definitely go again.

Amazing staff, everyone’s very welcoming and friendly, food was amazing with a lot of variety each day! Space was always clean and things were very organized all the time, lots of activities happening at all times so no way you can get bored. I am definitely gonna come back, this is one of the best resorts I’ve experienced!

Lovely hotel. Fast check in, nice room with minibar! Multiple pools with great bar service and nicely maintained beach. The food was delicious and the cocktails strong!! We loved the cocktail stand each night in the lobby that had a different theme each night.

All-inclusive are not my preferred way to vacation, but if I do, RIU is truly a top tier option. The staff was amazing and the dining options were excellent across the board.

Disappointing

The staff seemed to expect tips everywhere, almost as if it was mandatory. They were only friendly and helpful when tipped. The buffet area had a lot of flies around the food, which was very unhygienic and unpleasant. Additionally, the location is very isolated and far from downtown or any attractions.
