The staff was excellent and the food superb. We had an excellent vacation! The facility was kept very clean. All of the restaurants had outstanding staff. I highly recommend the RIU Palace, Nueva Vallarta

You need to improve reservation at the steakhouse ! We had little problem there ! Drinks at the pool poor quality, drinks at the inside bars and restaurants great! Food excellent at buffet , and all restaurants ! Easy check in ! Good place!

It felt like the check in staff was rude from the time we got there until the time we left. No one explained all of the amenities that the property had to offer. We waited for the bell hop to take us to the room but they were so busy talking to each other that we finally just took our bags and went. There was never any music playing. The three pools and two elevators were tiny for the size of the property and amount of rooms. Food choices were very limited. The property was very boring with absolutely no night life. RIU was a one and done for me. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. The bedding was stained and holy when we got there and the staff tried to charge us for putting stains on the bedding. All in all just a very disappointing resort.

Food was really bad. Tried to get into the Asian restaurant and they weren’t seating people any more. That was a huge bummer. Service at the pool was terrible. They closed one pool so the other pool was packed and they only had 2 servers.

Loved the resort. Beautiful hotel, great food, daily themed cocktail cart! There was no rush for pool chairs so no stress there. The room was lovely and clean with daily housekeeping and water bottle replacements. Entertainment and theatre area was lovely (a little bit warm!). The three pools (one activity pool, one party/bar pool, and one quiet pool) were great. However, one complaint was that the quiet pool was so hot, it didn’t offer a reprieve from the heat. All said, we will be staying there again next year! Definitely recommend. 5 Stars.

We enjoyed our time at this resort. The food was great, with lots of options. It was quiet and the staff were amazing. The entertainment was lacking, but thankfully we were just going to relax and didn’t care about that option.
