We were excited to visit Puerto Vallarta but disappointed in the Westin. The staff was wonderful. But Everything in the hotel was an inconvenience. Hardly anything was open as far as restaurants and by the time they do open you’re already gone out to town. . There is no store like other hotels if you wanna get snacks/drinks for room or if you need soap, toothpaste, etc… iguanas everywhere which is a beautiful thing but not in the pool and their poop every even in the poo! it was just not we expected for the amount of money we pay. Will not visit that resort again.

Incredible stay!

Loved our stay! The food was impeccable, staff was super nice, and the view from our room was incredible. My husband I enjoyed our stay immensely. It felt like we were coming home whenever we got back from sightseeing. The area was nice, quiet, and felt magical at times. Were definitely plan to come back again and bring our kids for a family trip!

The Westin was a nice resort to stay. Rooms was clean . pool was nice. This is the only resort i will probably stay. The location is in walking distance for shopping and good food. If you stay there eat at the lighthouse in the marina 36 restaurant and bar.. can't wait to get back to pvr.

The Westin Resort and Spa in Puerto Vallarta is under a modest renovation. New restaurants and shops under construction. The staff is aware and upgraded our reservation to another floor with full ocean view. Once the renovations are completed, the resort will be the best in the marina district. Private beach is small but very accessible. Marvin, working the poolside bar was very attentive and greeted us by name, each visit to the pool after our initial day. Guacamole making class and kayaking were awesome, but you had to inquire with multiple staff to get all the details. We will return. But, likely after all the renovations are complete.

Beautiful beachfront property with wonderful pools including a dedicated children's pool and private beach access. Convenient and tasty dining options including poolside service on site and multiple restaurant options available at the nearby marina a short walk away.
