Jenny was a fantastic host! Woke up to a morning after pouring rain on departure day and she met us at the ATV with towels to dry the seats to help as we were in a rush. The place was beautiful and we will definitely return.

Absolutely gorgeous bungalow. Everything you dream of when staying in Costa Rica. Property had everything you could need, was set in beautiful gardens and very private. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Stunning house within tropical garden near beach

We stayed at the “Beach House” which was an absolutely stunning house and just a short walk to a beautiful little beach at Playa Chiquita. You can also walk to Punta Uva along the coast which is one of the best beaches in Puerto Viejo. Jenny was friendly, helpful and always with a smile and was always available if we needed anything. The house itself is beautiful and it felt very special to stay here with stunning grounds and amazing wildlife. There was a cleaner who came each day and left the entire house spotless.

Loved It!

We loved our stay at La Finca Chica! The host and his family made us feel right at home and very helpful with questions. The house is in the rain forest and has private access to the beach just a short stroll away. We seen so many beautiful birds, animals and critters. This place is perfect for a family with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You should stay here to get the full Costa Rican vibe!

This property is incredible, and the photos do not do it justice. Very comfortable inside and out, with plenty of private outdoor covered space to relax. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Caribbean coast experience.

Our family of four had a wonderful experience at ‘The Beach House’ location. It was just steps away from the beach and provided all the luxuries of home. We enjoyed the jungle/rainforest feel with the sound of many birds and even howler monkeys every morning. The property also provides much privacy. We felt like locals with our own home. We would definitely recommend this rental to our friends.

Absolutely lovely!

We had the house in the jungle that was 100 meters to the beach. We saw a sloth in the front yard and loads of birds and butterflies. Sat in the rocking chairs on the porch for hours just enjoying the beautiful garden. Very comfortable house with everything you need. Emilio was very friendly host.

Cabins near the beach

We stayed in the small cabin, but as there were two of us it was a great size. The cabin is shady in the afternoon to keep you out of the heat but the downside is the mozzies; the joy of open air living. The local beach is nice and only a five min walk away but there are nicer beaches a short cycle or drive away. The kitchen was great for breakfast but it would be good if they included some basics like cooking oil. Our hosts gave us some great information about snorkling hire and local reefs, refaurants and shady beaches and is generally on hand for any questions.

We stayed for 2 nights at the "beach house". Very comfortable and great place to relax. If you want a jungle experience, this is the place to come.

The area was fantastic if your are renting a car. Definitely use the bug net. The only complaint I have was that shower faucet had electric shocks when we would shower

Amazing jungle cabins.

Cabins at Finca Chica were beautiful and functional. Wonderful to be in the jungle setting with the birds and animals. Fresh air and quiet. Housekeeping was good - they did our dishes every day. Owners were very nice and helpful. Great location. Short drive to Puerto Viejo, Punta Uva, manzanillo, Cahuita.

Amazing hotel in the jungle!

As long as you don't mind the spooky sounds of the jungle in the morning this is the place to be - you get a huge cabin (we got upgraded on the second day but the original was big as well). Really are in the middle of nature but with the comforts of home such as a fan, good kitchen/bathroom facilities and even sky TV! Best hotel ive ever stayed in and ive been to a lot.
