Great location, very central. Staff were friendly and hotel is clearly well kept. Room was very comfortable.

This time we were disappointed. The place is beautiful and well maintained. However, one pays a premium to stay here and this hotel has removed the little extras that used to be available at its time of opening. It may sound like nothing, but there always used to be two handcrafted biscuits laid out in the bedroom. Little extras in the bathroom which now no longer exist. A mug rather than a cup for your coffee downstairs. All in all, we used to feel treated. No longer and so we have decided that we will no longer stay at The Observatory in the future. Very sad.
