Staff was polite enough and the area around the property were safe and clean. Room was extremely outdated, both in general furnishing/features and in terms of deferred maintenance, plus bathroom floor was not clean which was super off putting. Sink faucet dripped badly, bathroom door was difficult to close, wall corners were beaten up, scuffed walls, thin bed covers, and the mattresses themselves seemed worn and uncomfortable. We paid way too much for a very substandard experience and i told my wife that we'll never stay there again, even if it means a much longer drive when visiting our kids at WSU. Oh, and the breakfast was barely ok. They had several options but no fresh fruit or anything really prepared. Mostly microwave ready sandwiches and watered down juice plus the standard waffle machine.

We enjoyed the city view from our room and proximity to WSU, as we were visiting our freshman granddaughter. The hotel is attractive, clean and provides all needed amenities. We were pleasantly surprised to find Sunnyside Park near the hotel. It was a beautiful place to walk to from the hotel.

It is a pretty clean property, although I killed multiple insects in the room. About 630 every morning doors start slamming loudly disturbing everyone's sleep. Stahh was friendly, as it was Washington State University home coming weekend it was pretty booked and the price was jacked up quite a bit for that occasion
