I am married and my BD was August 4th which was the purpose of staying at Lopesan Punta Cana. When we arrived they told us that the reservation was due one person myself Not including my wife. It took us a long time to check in and we were were not happy. First time this happened with Expedia and I am reporting it .. we had to pay the difference so that my wife can be admitted with me in our room

My family and I were seeking a 4-star or higher all-inclusive resort for our vacation. Having visited Cancun several times, we expected a comparable level of customer service and hospitality. Unfortunately, our experience at Hotel Lopesan in the Dominican Republic fell significantly short of these expectations. While the resort boasts beautiful infrastructure and impressive facilities, the level of service was deeply disappointing. The staff was consistently rude and unwelcoming throughout our stay. My mother, originally from Colombia and a resident of the United States for over 25 years, was particularly disheartened by the lack of warmth and professionalism. It was evident that the hotel is understaffed and that employees lack proper training on how to treat guests at a property that claims to be a 4.9-star all-inclusive resort. This was our first visit to the Dominican Republic, and it is regrettable that this experience left us with such a negative impression. Sadly, we do not wish to return.

My room was great. The refrigerator did not work so I didn’t take advantage of the beverages. My friends had issues with their rooms. In one of the rooms it smelled like mildew and in the other the door was broken so they were not able to lock their door the whole trip.

It is a very aesthetic hotel. Not the best customer service, food is average, and cocktails are too sweet. I purchased my stay as "adults only” but the only thing that was adults only was one of the pool's. Overall it’s an ok hotel and had a good time with my spouse.

I ordered a swim up room on the Adults only side and for the 1st 2 days there were kids swimming in the swim out making loud noises and occupying all the space. I couldn't understand why there were children on the all adult side. The food was never at the temperature you requested. All steak was rare or medium rare I had to tell them burn it well done in order for it to be medium well. None of the meats, chicken, pork all were not fully cooked and maybe some like that,

Not what expected

Over all I didn’t love this place at all. They don’t bring you enough wash cloths and towels. You have to keep asking and still don’t come. Suppose to have been on the adult only side and there were kids, I guess they over booked themselves. Rooms not cleaned daily. Customer service not as expected for the price point of this hotel. Their staff uses no English and doesn’t even try. Been sick on the toilet for 2 days not sure what’s in the food. Food restaurants doesn’t feel like service you feel like your being a burden on staff. Half my tv was blacked out even after coming to change it out. Bathrooms around resort were disgusting tp say the least!!!! I would recommend this place!!!! Over price and not worth the money!!!

The few things I didn’t like was the entertainment. There should have been a variety of music. Also the adults only side was really for the adults. There were kids everywhere. Other tan that we had an amazing stay. Food was great we'll be returning!

The property was really good and the night entertainment. What I do no like from the resort was the customer service from the concerges. Staff from the restaurants excellent customer service. Segestion- more atention to the commun areas bathrooms.

Staff was generally unfriendly. The service by the pool area was poor at best. Not enough wait staff to service the amount of people. When going to the bar (because of lack of wait staff) encountered miserable bartenders who did not hide their disgust for their employment. My first day upon arrival decided to check out the beach with my wife and the so called lifeguards who unbeknownst to them I speak Spanish- flat out disrespected my manhood. It took every ounce of patience in my soul to refrain from a physical response. Lastly, the room reeked of mold. Much potential at this hotel. Too bad the hiring practices are leading to such poor service.
