Great place to visit, the only thing I didn’t like is that the beach is not truly *adults only* per say since a lot of parents with kids walking by from other hotels. For all the water activities, you have to walk along the beach to the other hotel. They can do a better job on nightlife activities in the adult section of the hotel, other than that, pretty good place to stay.

The premium package is a most love all the benefits. But even without premium they have excelent customer service. Too me this hotel have it all with out the need of living the hotel. Plus staying here you can enjoy all the Barcelo Bavaro Palace amenities.

This was hands down the nicest resort we have visited. The service was excellent, staff were accommodating and kind, the property and room was spotless, food was delicious and abundant, and the view from our ocean front room with a jacuzzi tub was the icing on the cake. This is our second stay at a Barcelo, and we will definitely stay at other Barcelo resorts!

We enjoyed our vacation however multiple things need updating in the rooms. Every morning our light would not turn on. Their was some kind of kill switch that turned everything off even when you didn’t turn it off. We would try to charge our phones at night but couldn’t. One day no one came to clean our room. The entertainment is lacking. We heard the Macarena song everyday twice a day. The only good entertainment was the violin playing.

We stayed 5 days and 4 nights and it was a really good experience overall. The downside from it was a specific scenarios that involved staff members of the hotel but other than that I would definitely recommend it to enjoy a few days of a good and relaxing environment.

Overall rating is a 1. The adult side is misrepresented and doesn't have activities/ entertainment. The food selection is subpar, and customer service was awful. The only positive experience that I had was on the family side, Bavaro Grand Palace, they had a pool party, and the entertainment staff was fun to interact with. I do not recommend it at all . I would not travel to this resort again,
