El Catalonia Royal Bávaro, me encantó, desde el trato de los empleados, la comida, los alrededores, las piscinas, las áreas de estar, la música y entretenimiento, la habitación, todo me gustó, pero en especial el buen trato de su personal al cliente, siempre buscándonos opciones para hacernos sentir muy bien. Lo único q tal vez cambiaría es que el entretenimiento sea hasta mas tarde por lo menos los fines de semana, porque luego de las 10pm no hay nada que hacer. Fuera de eso espectacularr. Gracias Catalonia!

Mi pareja y yo acabamos de regresar. Nos encantó el ambiente, el trato y la comida. Todos fueron muy amables y atentos. Nos buscaban complacer y agradadar en todo momento. Nos encantó que hubiesen gatitos alrededor de la propiedad y los empleados los dejaban convivir con los huéspedes. La única sugerencia es que deberían hacer un programa de esterilización para ellos. Definitivamente es un lugar que volveriamos.

When we arrived it was very underwhelming. Typically we are greeted with drinks and great positivity. It was just a long, slow line waiting to check in. It took about 40 minutes for us to be seen because there were only 3 people working the front desk. We did get juice provided while we wait, but not typical champagne as expected. After getting checked in, I wanted a real drink. I looked at the selection at the bar, and it was terrible. They had Jack Daniel’s as an “exclusive member” only choice. What a joke. I love JD, but it is bottom rail. The bar tenders would walk right by my wife and serve others that came after her. Totally dismissed on several occasions. We typically tip very well at the beginning of our trip in order to get great service. Unfortunately, no one even tried to earn our money. My wife and I still made the best of or week there, but we won’t be going back.

Overall this property was great! Everything was as described. The room was always clean. The buffets have a bunch of options every day to choose from. The beach was clean and beautiful. The ONLY thing I hated was the locals trying to sell stuff on the beach. It's constant. You spend more time telling people no then getting to enjoy laying down.

Property needs work on the ground the workers are not attentive. I fell due to the gutter being broken and not covered, the male driver never helped me up and left me on the ground. I was helped by another tourist that was on the golf cart. I have pictures and several witnesses who will be willing to speak with my lawyers

We liked how quiet the adults-only portion of the property was. It was also nice to have the option of exploring the family side as well. The staff were fine overall. Most staff speak exclusively Spanish so make sure to study up before you go if you are not fluent. The resort was nice overall, but it was clear that they were in the process of starting some renovations around the property. The major detractor for this trip was the fact that someone tried to trick us into attending a presentation for their timeshare/travel club membership. When we checked in, we were told that we were going to go to a special breakfast since we had booked a "privileged" room (think premium economy). when they came to pick us up in the morning we were told we would need our passports and credit cards and that we would be sitting through "a short presentation about the resort". Thankfully, we were firm with them that we didn't want to go and went to the buffet instead. But we were very disappointed in how it was handled by the staff member who then tried to make us feel guilty. We booked this trip to relax, not be aggressively Marketed to, and made to feel guilty for not wasting 5 hours of our day. We had previously stayed at another Catalonia property in Mexico and enjoyed it but not sure we would return after this experience.

Upon arrival to this hotel , I read some mixed reviews so I was skeptical about my stay. I booked this trip for my husbands 30th birthday and had 15 guest also come along with us and it exceeded all our expectations! Everything was beautiful staff was very friendly and attentive. The only thing for me was the food on the family side wasn’t that great compared to the one on the adults only but was limited to options other wise the stay was great and I would recommend anyone looking for a hotel to come here
