Overall, this is an amazing resort. There were a ton of families and things for everyone to do. We enjoyed the pool, waterpark, and nightly entertainment. For the most part, the food was very good, too. Hits: 1. Pool and waterpark: We loved these and spent a lot of time at both. The only thing is that the depth is 4 feet at both, so a little more challenging for younger kids 2. Variety of restaurants: Plenty of options with some very good food. a. Grand Grill: Our favorite meal with a grilled meat plate that everyone loved b. Alula: Good food by the beach c. Mangu: For the most part, good, although we had a few misses here with undercooked food d. Buffet: Plenty of options. We were surprised our first night to walk in and see lobster, shrimp, carving stations, and plenty of fresh fruit. The omelets were always good 3. Rooms: Rooms were spacious and clean, and the mini bar was always full 4. Staff: So friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help 5. Property: Amazing property with plenty to walk around and see. Beautiful. The beach is about 3/4 of a mile from the front door and was an easy run or golf cart ride (~4-5 minutes) Misses 1. Reservations: A mess. We showed up on the first night (Sunday) and they told us that there were no reservations available for our group until Thursday. Fortunately guest services helped out 2. Steak house: Appetizers were good, steak was overdone then under done and not great 3. Rubi Rocks

This is by far the worst resort we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was terrible. The food was mediocre—bland, repetitive, and always cold. They have no chafers or warmers to keep the buffet hot. Housekeeping was inconsistent. They never replaced towels consistently. The room wasn’t cleaned properly. The couch in our room was filthy, and when this was reported, nothing was done. The seats around the property were dirty. The staff all looked like they didn’t want to be there. It always seemed like you were bothering them when you asked for something. No attention to detail. This is definitely NOT a five-star resort. The whole experience made us not enjoy our time in the DR, and we couldn’t wait to leave and go back home. When we go on vacations, we are always sad on departure day—especially our 10-year-old daughter—but in this case, we were so happy to go back home. We couldn’t wait to get out of here. This resort is a 2-star, and I do not recommend it at all. Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews like we were. Pay attention to the negative reviews—they are actually true.

Loved the size of the rooms and the amazing pools and pool access. Loved the water park!! Loved the pasta!! Loved the single malt scotch! Great service from tons of staff. Property needs to add a mini cafe with proper coffee and espresso drinks and staff to make them. Property desperately needs to fix the dinner reservation system. Family concierge is an unnecessary option as I only booked it to avoid issues with reserving the a La cart restaurants. Still had major issues. Should keep it to VIP circle folks and then everyone else. Gabriel was super nice band did help but the property should just have people helping guests when help is needed as their standard practice. I wouldn’t book that service again.

As someone who doesn't particularly enjoy All Inclusive resorts I was pleasantly surprised with the experience here. The rooms were a real highlight - incredibly spacious and impressive, modern design and materiality and the hot tub on the terrace was a major bonus

The rooms, pool and water park were fantastic. The kids loved the bouncy castle thing in the pool you guys blew up one day, and the milkshake stand. Have to say though, the service at the buffet was horrible. Just trying to get a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night with dinner was painful.
