The property is very nice and everything was kept clean and in good condition. Check in and check out was quick and easy. If your Spanish is limited don't worry there were enough English speaking staff members to assist you or answer questions. Food option were plentiful. I'm not really an alcoholic drinker but ppl seemed to like the drinks.All staff I encountered were very friendly and nice. The pool areas were great and kept very clean. Beach area was ok. The staff did a great job of entertaining the guests. If I had 1 negative to say the bed for me was not the most comfortable. All in all my friend and I had a great stay at Bahia Principe Grand La Romona. I would definitely come back to this resort one day. .

Staff are excellent and entertainment was fun. Food was ok not many restaurants but buffet had lots of variety. There was a lot of fly over the food, not many vegetarian options or if there was they put all vegetarian right next to meet sections. The room layout is very strange and outdated. Water temperature and pressure was very bad. Lighting in bathroom was very dim

The property was beautiful, the pool was incredible, the dining and bars were easily accessible. The beach areas were kept groomed and clean. The only disappoint was the color of the water, when you travel to the Caribbean, you expect crystal clear blue water, not brown.

Overall the stay at Grand La Romana was fantastic. All the employees were very friendly, happy, and helpful from the moment you stepped on the property. The only suggestion I have is updating the rooms a little more. Our room was clean but outdated and although my husband and i were the newlyweds our families room was much better than ours. The buffet was okay, some days the food was better than others but they had a variety of options. I would also suggest to make reservations early on for the restaurants because we did not do that and struggled to find availability for dinner at the restaurants. The entertainment every day and night was fun, zero complaints about that! I would definitely stay on this resort again!
