First of all, WOW! This was my boyfriend and I’s first all inclusive. I saw so many mixed reviews on tiktok and other sites but our experience was greater than expected. The staff made the experience 10/10. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, if you’re even considering a solo trip this is the place to go. We made so many friends. The buffet options were alright but the restaurant foods were spectacular. There’s an option for every type of diet. The only other thing i’d say is that the sheets for the beds are very thin but that is easily resolved by contacting guest services. We felt so safe, comfortable and at home with a great price point. The staff was wonderful; friendly and very helpful. The pool and dining stood out. The size of the room and balcony was good. The room needed some updating. Holes in the curtain, safe picture coming out of the wall, shower needed resealed. But overall, would definitely recommend to others.

Disgusting buffet with flies and rude workers

Bait and switch. We booked a bungalow with Jacuzzi inside. After paying was taken to a regular 2nd floor village room with no Jacuzzi. When asked was told that that doesn't exist. When asked to cancel was threatened by staff at the front desk that the would keep my money unless I signed a handwritten piece of paper in Spanish. I left anyway because I would never stay at a place where workers and so-called managers can get away with being rude to guests. This is a third world level bottom of the barrel nasty place. Stay away

The room was “clean” upon checking in but I still found a blonde hair on the sink and on the tub black hair. During my 4.5 day stay, housekeeping did not sweep the floor, I had to call them to make sure my room was going to get maintenance. It was almost 3pm and my room wasn’t clean yet. The area around the fridge wasn’t clean either and I had to call them to restock my water because they didn’t do so. I have pictures.

I enjoyed my stay at Grand Bávaro Princess and would highly recommend to those looking for a great vacation with and all around atmosphere fit for the young to the older generations! My only gripe was the gift shop cashiers did not know how to count their own pesos nor USD dollar correctly to give to correct change back and the lady working the money exchange booth thought she would try to charge me over $150 USD to exchange $283 in pesos back to USD, and tried to go back in forth with me about until the transportation representative came and offered to exchange me out of his company money USD for a charge of $35. And couldn’t have expressed my appreciation to him enough, I was so thankful! So 9 out 10 due to the money scam game done to good tipping American travelers everywhere I went rather I was on the resort and especially on my excursions off the resort so just advise people to beware!

The resort was nice enough, but overall, it was not a satisfactory experience.The staff was poorly trained and had poor English communication skills. Basically, they did not really understand English well enough to deal with an English-speaking customer. The room had mosquitoes and it took the staff two days to deal with the problem. The plumbing in the tub was broken. My daughter got sick from the Japanese restaurant food the first night. We had to order in while she recovered. Room service managed to get a simple order very wrong. I asked for a burger, and I got fried chicken. After many phone calls with guest services, they delivered a bun with shredded white meat. The third time, we got a very tough burger and unsalted fries. The food at the buffet was so-so. Mostly underseasoned. There was an unscrupulous vendor at the resort who overcharged us for a wood carving. Management should be more careful of who they allow to sell in their premises. The bartender by the pool took a shot for every drink he served a customer. Very off-putting behaviour. The beach was full of seaweed, so we had to stick to swimming in the pools. Finally, the resort failed to give me the wake-up call I requested on the day of my departure. It's really too bad because the property was nice. They fell short in the communication and service and finer details of hospitality.
