Two of the three rooms didnt have air conditioning for large portions of 2 days. Hot water was not available in the afternoon for 2-3 hours. The air filter should have been changed many months ago. A sewer line broke with sewage spreading across one of the walkways. The New Year's entertainment was unbelievably bad and the concept of needing to purchase a bottle of liquor/champagne for $150.00 in order to sit at a table was just plain pitiful! The best part of staying at the Hard Rock hotel was the personable and helpful staff working there. They were great!

Its a very large property with lots to do, but the mini put wasn't open on several attempts to go play, there were not enough carts around to help you get from place to place quickly, and you're constantly waiting in lines (sometimes almost an hour!) even for buffet food and the food isn't even very good! Would not go back.

We liked the location (Caribbean), the range of food and drink, facilities and activities, the convenience of the all-inclusive, cashless nature of the resort and the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. For some of the restaurants, particularly the "non-reservation" ones, there are probably too many guests for the number of tables, hence there were often long queue waits to get a table. Overall, though, it was a fabulous holiday venue. Thank you to all staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

Hotel bonito e enorme. Sou idoso e solicitei um quarto próximo, mas fui acomodado bem longe e isso foi um transtorno. Restaurante Ipanema péssimo, assoalho escorregadio, faltando comida, sem reposição dos alimentos. Meu pedido não veio no restaurante Toro. Eu e minha família fomos muito mal atendidos, parecia que o garçom estava com muita pressa e queria que fossemos embora.

Bom, mas poderia melhorar
Resort bem grande e completo, com muitos resturantes e atividades para todas as idades. Limpo e perfumado. No entanto, a variedade de bebidas era extremamente limitada. Só havia um tipo de cerveja local e um tipo de vinho tinto, branco e espumante. Staff reduzido. O restaurante Ipanema é péssimo, não há reposição dos alimentos, sempre desfalcado. O piso é muito escorregadio. No restaurante Toro fomos muito maltratados, nosso pedido no bar não foi entregue, o bartender parecia mais interessado em conversar com duas meninas que tam´bem estavam no balcão... Já na mesa, quase tivemos que implorar para sermos atendidos. E, depois de finalmente conseguirmos fazer nosso pedido, o garçom, quando veio trazer os pratos, trouxe tudo pela metade! Faltaram vários pratos! Quando perguntamos se já estavam vindo, ele respondeu que tinham acabado! Um horror! O transporte pelo hotel com os carrinhos funciona bem. As piscinas são limpas e variadas. A praia também é limpa, mas o mar é bastante agitado, com muitas ondas, mesmo com o quebra mar que dava para ver, ainda assim tinha ondas fortes e muitos buracos. O parque aquático é bem divertido, com tobogãs e uma piscina com bar molhado. Contudo, o piso é extremamente escorregadio, precisa tomar bastante cuidado. A suite é grande e limpa, mas o spa fica na varanda, totalmente exposto, para todo mundo ver. Bem estranho. Valeu a pena o passeio, mas fiquei bastante decepcionada com a pouca opção de bebidas e com o serviço nos restaurantes.

Overall it was a good trip with issues. The general areas of the hotel and pools were maintained well. Staff overall was friendly and very helpful. Rooms - outdated, everything felt like it needed some updating. Toilets clogged frequently, AC never properly worked. Food - Average across the board. My kids both have Celiac and the staff took great care of them even though they had limited options to some extent. Food overall though was average - the Hibachi was the best Pools - very nice and well kept. plenty of chairs for everyone Entertainment - poor. After 10p nothing to do and very little during the day to keep the large crowds entertained. Evening entertainment was pretty bad overall. Everything pretty much costs money if you want to do things - arcade, laser tag, VR room, bowling, putt putt. Not a crazy cost but certainly changes the feel of the all-inclusive experience Staff - overall very friendly and responsive Be careful of the vacation club meeting. They will offer you incentives but you have to present the certificate at check-out or they don't make good on the credit

Just left a week stay at hard rock punta cana. Highly recommended with or without kids. So much to do there!! A lot of food options so many pool options, the beach is beautiful. My kids loved the waterpark!! Only a couple complaints , we had to leave the live entertainment 3/4 nights early because music was so loud it physically hurt our ears. The other is that people reserve chairs by the pools so nothing is left open and never use those chairs!!! Dozens of people do this and it’s very inconsiderate. Loved the wait staff at the market:)
