My stay it was horrible staff that was at the hotel and I got bedbugs and also none of the pictures online matched the room and my tv never worked since the day I got there along with the a/c which was dirty and didn’t work at all

We booked a riom for two via Expedia. The room was noted as reserved for us. When we got htere late at night after a long bus journey, we were told our room had been booked out and no other rooms were available. This led to us dragging our suitcases around to look for another hotel which we eventually found for more than twice the price! Shame on you Expedia Nd most of all shame on Hotel Maracas!😒

It was 30 outside and the air con stopped working, there was rain getting through the ceiling all over the tiled floor. I paid more than double for a junior suite i complained and receptionist tried to give me a small very poor room with no water and said i couldn’t have any refund. Written on the wall says hotel policy no refund given, that is a bad advertisement

Decent for the price

If you want to stay somewhat near the beach but not pay for a big resort, it's a decent place. Not best for families as there are two clubs next door playing loud music until late at night, but overall good for the lrice

It is located next to Drink point which is a club that opens at 8pm and closes at 2am. My room was on the club side and was hard to sleep. There was a few ants that were traveling through my room. I did feel very welcomed there. The staff was very nice and made me feel like family. I loved the restaurant connected to the place next store. I would stay there again if I have the chance. It is a good price. I would just request the other side of the hotel which I’m sure is less noisy.

I regularly travel solo and don’t expect much from cheap places but. The ad blatantly lied about the distance from the beach. It’s a 40minute walk or 10 minute drive. Drink point is next door and plays music so so so very loud I couldn’t sleep at night until 6am. Only let you pay cash because you can’t get any refund from them. My door knob would come off if pulled on. The staff except a few seemed to not care about being polite. I got robbed next door at a club that is really a brothel. The whole place is mainly used for sleeping with escorts. If you like prostitution this place would be perfect but for a nice beach trip I’d avoid.

Nothing like the photo of the property. For the price maybe it is not so bad. The wifi doesn’t really work. Loud club noises come from at least 3 different places nearby. You won’t be able to sleep. If you need a roof for a night, get this.
