I have stayed here a few times before and loved the property but this time the bed bugs ate me alive and it was so miserable. I got married and was staying there for part of our honeymoon. It really made me change where I am going in the future as me and my husband travel there a few times during the year. We thought this was a place we could frequent but we will not ever be staying here again. I am afraid I will be attacked again. I was literally covered from neck to foot in large red itchy bumps. I had to spray my own room and stay off of the couch where I believed them to be. So sad because this property is beautiful and in a perfect spot.

Beachfront Stay with Mixed Impressions
Check-in and check-out were efficient, though the luggage assistant left a poor impression—he gave me the wrong internet password and didn’t respond when I pointed it out. The apartment itself was showing its age, but it was clean, spacious, and generally comfortable. The rate seemed more about paying for the beach location than the condition of the property or the amenities, which felt a bit overpriced. I also had some safety concerns, as it seemed easy to access the apartment without a key, although I didn’t encounter any issues. Overall, it’s a place that may appeal to some but disappoint others, depending on expectations and perspective.

I was forced to leave this property early and requested a refund which is yet to be received. Construction noise that made it impossible to rest during the day. I requested a transfer to another room which was never done. The front desk receptionist demanded $70 for electricity not indicated in my package. Referred him to Expedia. He kept bothering me for money. Security guard begged me for money. Claimed they have private beach - No. Claimed there was free breakfast. First day I waited till 1130AM in my room for breakfast.Eventually walked to front office in heat. Front desk tells me I have to walk 2KM down the beach to a restaurant called Villa Blanca for breakfast and gave me a note. That is very inconvenience. Villa Blanca has flies bothering you when you sit to eat in restaurant. No water in room. It was very hot and you cannot drink pipe water. Cable TV does not work. I was told to log in TV with my Netflix account. Are they serious. Failing that I was told to use YouTube. after an hour the connection broke down. So no TV during my stay. False and misleading Ad on expedia as to benefits. Looked like someone tried to break into my room. Key stopped working and outside door looked damaged. Safe does not work in room. Eventually given a key to use on safe. Nobody picked me up at the airport as requested. There are no phones in the rooms. So you have to walk and stand in hot sun at front desk to get help for anything. This was a ripoff, I want my money back. Dane King
