Spring break vacation with my husband and it was great! Food was amazing and the entertainment was so fun and adult-friendly. We highly recommend for couples looking for a quiet and sexy getaway. 5 stars and overall amazing!

The property is clean and rooms are nice. The swim up pool was nice. The beds and bedding are extremely hard and very uncomfortable. The food was not good at all. We didn’t get our VIP spirits or upgrade even though we asked for it twice.

I loved staying here. Great location since rooms are close to the beach! Some staff was amazing but some staff were a lil rude. The rooms were really nice, could use a little bit of upgrading. Only had 2 power cords one in the restroom and another by the coffee machine. I enjoyed my stay only thing is employees can be a bit pushy and they’re extremely loud!! All we would hear while in the room was them yelling and laughing or talking. Other than that. I enjoyed the food choices and also they kept beach area very clean constantly cleaning seaweed

This to me is not a 5 star hotel. The hotel rooms are not well kept. My fridge in my room didn’t work. The fridge was never fully stocked after each room clean. The overall room was not worth the amount I paid. I won’t be coming back to a Bahía resort. If you’re looking for a. 5 star luxury resort for similar cost, stay at the excellence. The food, service, rooms, and overall experience is way better.

We stayed for one week at the Ambar, first time at a Bahia Príncipe and would definitely book again. The beach is beautiful, clean and well kept up. I am a beach bum so this was really important over the pool. Plenty of chairs available no matter what time of day (even though people do come out super early and mark there spots) The only bothersome that you will get everywhere you go, is the endless amount of approaches of trying to sell excursions & things to do. Be sure to book your dinner reservations well in advanced, we were only able to book 3 dinner reservations during our time that were available. We did not mind dining at the Buffet, there are so many options and they do switch it up everyday. The food is as good as it can get for all inclusive! We were well satisfied, ate and drank everything and we had no sickness issues. The Meat & the Hibachi Restaurants were our favorite restaurants, but we did not get to try any of the other dining options. The staff is super fun and energetic, they are always happy to see you and ensure you are having a good time. The rooms were clean and updated. Evening entertainment is okay. This was adults only and it’s definitely geared toward an older crowd. I am 37 and was one of the few in that age group, the general crowd range was in there late 40’s -60’s. Overall good, fun experience and would book another location with a Bahía Príncipe resort.
