My wife and I had an awesome time. The resort is beautiful, quiet, clean, and the food was amazing. We will definitely be returning for sure.

Our stay was good in general but there are many things that are not from a 5 star hotel. Bars, bartenders don't use natural juices for cocktails, so they are horrible sweet. The lobby bars the doors falling. The pool bar is a bit the same. The best drinks are in the bars of the à la carte restaurants. Except the Rodrizio meat. The worst quality of meat I've ever eaten. They say sirloin and it's a rolled steak. We couldn't eat only cheeses from the buffet. The worst experience, the other restaurants were very good. Then they tell you that you can move to all the resorts and that they take you and several times that we went to dinner at other hotels we had to walk back. The sport bar outside the terrible lobby, very bad as I said before nothing to do with what one pays. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll come back. In addition, the store outside the pool charged me 39 dollars for a sunscreen. Check well the prices of what you buy.

I didn’t know that I was staying at a multiple number of resorts. You could see that there was different levels in each. And it was very clear some were better than others. I had to travel through these to get to mine. My property couldn’t find my reservation at first. Then I was harassed for 3 days to try to upgrade/join their privilege club.

Honeymoon Feedback – Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar (Adults Only, All Inclusive) Our honeymoon stay at Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar was good—but unfortunately, it was far from great and WAS NOT LUXURIOUS. While we appreciated many aspects of our trip, several disappointing experiences made it clear that this resort was not the right choice for us and we would not return. Shout Outs & Positive Highlights 🌟 Front Desk Supervisors Ambiorix & Orlando – Absolutely AWESOME! They helped us quickly resolve our check-in issue and set a welcoming tone. Carlos – Assisted us to our room with professionalism and kindness. Andres & Jose (Amstar) – Fantastic support with our excursion booking. Palmyra Buffet Staff – Energetic and fun, even surprising us with Mamajuana shots! Eric & Mario (Portofino) – Excellent waiter and waitress service. (Bartender at Portofino) – Made the BEST Apple Amaretto Sour drinks (we lost count after 13–14 between the two of us). Sports Bar – Those wings were out of this world… seriously, a MUST-TRY. Francis (Saona Island Tour Guide) – Wonderful, knowledgeable, and made the excursion special. Emmanuel & William (Poolside Bartenders) – Always kept our cups full and the energy high. Chef at Meat’s – Personally came out to discuss an issue with my wife’s meal and then re-cooked it to PERFECTION. True dedication to service!
