Beautiful beach and amazing pool! Swim up bar is in an ideal location and staff was incredible! They also have shuttle service running at all times to get you around the resort quickly. We did run into a few issues with our safe in the room not working, but staff quickly handled it and got us up and running.

I’m familiar with Meliá. I’ve experienced all. Meliá wellness rooms need to be updated. I guess you pay for what you get The food was great except the Japanese restaurant. Me n my guess waited 45-1 hour for someone to acknowledge and it wasn’t crowded. The manager did try to come to the rescue.

We were not aware that for $80 dollars more a night after paying $198 meant an upgrade to level area. We had limited eating options. If advised at check in that we had restrictions we probably would have upgraded. Only one restaurant opened on Friday unless you had a level room....we had a concierge assigned that did not explain the restaurants are closed certain nights. Eduard heard our situation and because we had a group 7 he made an exception and allowed us to dine at a different restaurant that only level people are allowed to dine at ?????. Pool area also divided but no one said anything on Thursday and then Friday our friends were kicked out of the level area. Also, the entertainment around the pool area is none existent, they had a rock band on Thursday at the front and we had to wait until 11pm to finally hear some Dominican music in a Dominican hotel????. Just because it's a wellness and spa resort with no kids it doesn't mean we don't want to have fun. Lastly, Expedia offers $90 credit towards massages which you think it's a credit and you pay remainder but it's divided into $20 dollar coupons for you to get 4 to 5 massages? I paid $100 bucks for one massage. Would I recommend for the price.....maybe not. The staff tried their best and were cortious and that's what we will take with us.....

Stayed here for 7 nights in a level suite. Our concierge Alejandro was amazing! Great adults only resort for some relaxation and peace and quiet. My only complaint is it was very hard to get additional drinks at the buffet and some nights at the level rooftop bar and I always tipped. Tried tipping even more than usual but that didn’t seem to help at all.

The property was green and prestigious. Quite and safe. The staff was the best. All friendly and welcoming. Our personal concierges Eddie and Jose were top notch.
