I booked Melia Punta Cana quickly after a terrible experience at another resort, and to my relief it turned out to be absolutely perfect for my birthday trip. The property is stunning and feels very safe and welcoming, which made it amazing for solo travel. The staff went above and beyond—especially Jenika from Expedia guest services. She was incredible! She constantly checked in on me, made sure I had everything I needed, and even booked dinner reservations for me multiple nights. On my birthday, the team surprised me by singing Happy Birthday and bringing out a cake during dinner, which made me feel so special. The beach is gorgeous, the food is delicious, and the resort activities are so much fun. Every single staff member I interacted with was kind, attentive, and truly made the remainder of my trip unforgettable. Thank you Melia Punta Cana for turning my birthday vacation around. I’ll definitely be back!

This was our 6th visit back to Melia and like always, they did not disappoint (already discussing plans for our 7th visit)! We have celebrated our honeymoon, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. and continue to return with absolutely no hesitation. Firstly, our concierge Nathaneal hit it out of the park with how responsive and helpful he was in setting up our perfect trip. He was truly such a blessing! The food is always outstanding, but the new Dominican experience at the Yumay restaurant left us wanting to go back a second time. It is an EXPERIENCE – not just a meal – which puts Dominican culture on full display. A culinary delight! Most importantly - the food and service wouldn’t be as exceptional as it is, if it wasn’t for how amazing their staff was. Every year we come back to staff remembering us from prior years with open arms and lots of mamajuana! Sorry for the long list but everyone below deserves a huge shout out for their amazing service, hospitality, and being all around amazing! We look forward to our next trip to see everyone! Melia Punta Cana was a relaxing resort to stay at. Our host Juan was incredible. He took care of all of our needs and made our dinner reservations daily. Juan made this trip memorable and personal by surprising us with celebrations for our wedding anniversary. The room was clean and centrally located to the pool and beach. Transportation was readily available when needing to get to the other side of the resort for dinning or entertainment. Will stay again.
