Beautiful resort. Good eating options. Drainage of the property grounds sucks. Need to deal with almost knee high puddles. We talked to other people from other resorts and they didn’t have this problem.

The property was well manicured and very big we like to walk so there was no complaints. There were golf carts for rides all the time never had an issue getting around when we didnt want to walk. There are only 3 restaurants I enjoyed all 3. The buffets for breakfast, lunch, dinner were great!! Drinks were okay. We were in the Level the snacks in the Level space could of had more variety. The roof top was nice but even at night no upbeat music which was disappointing. The spa was good we got massages that were great. The worst part about the resort was the pools were freezing cold so cold that we couldnt go in at all. Also way too quiet no pool music only 1 hr a day at 3pm. When the music came on everyone was do happy i dont understand no misic at all my suggestion would be music after 12pm at the pool bar so the other area is quiet. Everyone doesnt want silence all day by the pool. Everyone i spoke to felt the same way listen to your patrons the pool needs music upbeat and more pool activities like games.

I came here for my solo 30th and I’ll try to be as honest as possible. I came for 4 nights arriving on Monday afternoon from Toronto and leaving the Friday. Melia Punta cana was a drop dead resort. You immediately feel this as soon as you walk in. The restaurant options are a bit limited but i really enjoyed muoi. The service itself is where it varied. Check in took nearly an hour and i had to escalate several issues before it was resolved. The key card stopped working at least 4 times and i had to walk back to the concierge for a new one. Ultimately i had a good time; Keren, oscarlynn, claudio, Ruth and Jenika were so kind and went out of their way to ensure i had a good time. A huge shout out to bartenders rosa, rodolpo and polo. I enjoyed having not to walk often with the use of the buggy. The swim up bar was EVERYTHING. Great picture locations everywhere. Overall i had a fantastic time and perhaps the service could be better but nevertheless a good time

Excellent staff, quality of food and beverages. Had a wonderful time with family celebrating my father’s 70th. He was even serenaded by the staff on one of the evenings. Adolfo, Wander, Maribel and Ramon deserve a particular mention as they were so attentive and entertaining. We will most certainly be back.

We had a great time. The entertainment crew is the best! This is a very large resort. When it rains there’s flooding around the property so be prepared to get wet. The shuttles ran very inconsistently. Food was decent but recommend making reservations. Overall was a fun time. Bring mosquito repellent!

Very disappointed regarding the transportation inside the resort. The property doesn’t have enough cars to drive the guests around. When we checked out we requested a transportation to the main entrance and we waited for 40 mins and nobody could take us there. We had to walk because we were gonna miss our flight. When we got to the exit, the security stopped us saying we weren’t allowed to leave walking, we had to wait 10 more minutes until they gave an okay to exit the property.

Amazing hotel if you’re looking for a fun vacation without the constant noise and crowds. Noise time is limited and timed; but nights are fun and with entertainment every night. There’s even a disco for dancing after 11pm. The food was delicious and well balanced. The staff was always friendly and willing to help. I’d come back to this hotel without a doubt.

I just want to mention that Meliá is not a five star anymore, they cut the restaurants to only two, now the family Meliá has more and better restaurants than the wellness, before was not like that you had access to all restaurants, the credit that Expedia used to give, now they gave vouchers which is impossible to use, we’re not going to Meliá anymore what a disappointment

My trip was amazing and the staff made it extremely enjoyable and pleasant for my family and I. Felix was the best concierge! Louisa and Junior were the best! Moises was the best bartender! I would definitely go back and I definitely recommend Meliá Punta Cana to family and friends. Food was delicious and the nightly shows including dancers were so entertaining. The foam party was the best!
