I stayed at Ocean Blue & Sand Beach Resort from June 11 to June 15 and booked a Privilege Suite expecting a premium experience. Unfortunately, this trip was filled with repeated issues that made the stay uncomfortable and frustrating.
From the moment we checked in, we were promised special birthday amenities that were never delivered. Most concerning, our room did not have functioning air conditioning for the first three nights. Despite numerous requests for assistance and a room change, we were ignored until the last day of our stay. The heat was unbearable, and we were forced to spend long periods outside just to feel comfortable.
The personal concierge service that came with the Privilege package was unresponsive and dismissive. We contacted the staff multiple times through the preferred communication method and were left without follow-up or support. When we finally spoke to the assigned contact in person, the response was unhelpful and indifferent to our situation.
On several occasions in the dining areas, we experienced noticeably slower service compared to other guests. While we waited for extended periods just to be acknowledged, nearby tables were helped immediately. We were often left feeling overlooked and disrespected throughout our stay.
Other issues included delays at restaurant reservations, unfulfilled laundry service requests, unpleasant odors in the bathroom, and basic amenities like bottled water not being provided until the last day.
