Overall the venue was great and great looking. All the restaurants and the amenities and looks of the facades of eveything were amazing. Food was also much better than we expected. Our butler Jose was great. He had everything booked for us and it was very convenient over WhatsApp and so easy to reach. This was surprisingly useful! Areas to improve were the interior of the rooms. Some poor finishings and cleanliness issues (minor stains on fabrics and grout) and the AC could never get to temp but was still cool enough. Note: the interiors of all other spaces were amazing. In terms of personnel, it was a hit and miss; some were great and some didn’t seem as friendly as we’d hoped and as eager to help and assist. Note: I felt we tipped well but that didn’t seem to incentivize service.

Incredible Family Stay at Ocean El Faro! We had a wonderful family vacation at Ocean El Faro! From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Jose Miguel and Jury went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They stayed in touch throughout our entire stay, providing personal attention and ensuring every detail was taken care of even when personal needs came up. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference. The resort itself was beautiful, but it was their exceptional hospitality that truly made our trip memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable getaway!

Amazing Family Vacation at Ocean El Faro! I want to start by saying that if you're planning a family vacation to Punta Cana, Ocean El Faro is the place to be! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch, and the entire experience was unforgettable. The pool area, where bartender Ricardo works, deserves a special shoutout. Ricardo was absolutely exceptional—he went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were well taken care of. His hospitality and friendly attitude made our days by the pool even more enjoyable. His coworker Grisel was also fantastic and contributed to the great atmosphere. If you’re looking to stay organized during your trip, ask for Carlos, who helped us with restaurant reservations and activities. He made everything seamless and stress-free, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy ourselves. At the Mercado buffet, Johny was hands down the best waiter we had. His service was attentive and friendly every single time. And for excursions, another Carlos guided us through an amazing experience—we couldn’t have asked for better! The staff across the board were incredibly kind and professional. The cleanliness of the resort was impeccable—definitely 5 stars. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained. While every staff member we encountered was wonderful, Ricardo the poolside bartender truly made our trip special. Be sure to look for him during your visit—you won’t regret it!

Staying at this resort was an amazing experience. The resort is clean, and everyone is friendly. The only downside is the resort does not provide transportation which would increase customer service experience. We also never met our concierge. Not a lot of staff speaks English so it’s a little difficult. Overall the experience was beautiful!

Staying here was great. The facility is beautiful, open, spacious, and VAST! While there is a lot of walking, they make up for it with continuous golf carts going around the facility and can request a ride in the app/website. The room was beautiful and clean. It had a nice king-size bed, spacious area to sit inside and out, double-sink, and dual-showerheads. ;-) Dining options were fantastic to choose from and so much we didn’t get thru all of them (mainly because we enjoyed the Italian restaurant a lot). The staff was extremely friendly and fun. Some notable mentions. Dauris from El Beso Beach bar such a fun guy when making your drinks. Edward was very nice and had a good memory on your drinks. Roberto from Dolce Vita was always excited to see my wife and I and made sure we were taken care of each time. Lastly, Privileged was worth every penny. It comes with your personal butler and ours, José, was fantastic. Anything you need (within reason) or had an issue, he took care of. It made our experience stress-free. 🙂 A couple of small annoyances I will mention that didn’t take away from this being a 5-star place, but could help the resort enhance the experience for others. 1. The whole resort lost power a couple of times, which was weird but it came back on within a few minutes. 2. Vendors they bring onto the resort in the Plaza Area, very pushy. That part did make us upset and have to find ways to avoid them. 3. Music on El Beso side too loud at times. We’ll be back. 🙂

La playa supremamnete sucia nunca la limpiaban … Los bar tender en las piscinas si no loe dabas dólares no te atendían con disposición… solo en bar tender de la caseta de la playa era amable … y en el restaurante el mercado ni se diga que mal genio con que atienden la mayoría de los meseros… no todos pero si la mayoría ! No volvería jamás por que un hotel con una playa así de sucia para que ! Piscinas tengo acá en mi país !
