Itqliqn restaurqnt, excellent food and the best service during stay. Amoudy was our waitress, nice and quick. Our Buttler (Jose Miguel Jimenez), couldn't be better. Excellent person to deal with. Beau lieux avec plein d’activités, les journées passées supers vite, on ne s’ennuis pas vraiment, on y mange bien aussi et le service est magnifique, un bémol au niveau du mobilier extérieur qui n’est plus tout jeune et les toilettes assez propre mes vieux. Par ailleurs, j'ai aimé la promptitude avec laquelle le concierge répondait, puis chaque matin il nous envoyait le programme du jour. Belle initiative.

We had a great time at this resort. Our butler Kevin was amazing. Always answered any questions we had and went above and beyond to help us. The quality of the food is really poor. The ingredients used are not of high quality and the food often came cold. Most of the food was very salty. The cleanliness of the room needed work. Floors were dirty. Many of the staff came off as rude and it felt like we were an inconvenience. A lot of service staff needs to be trained to have better communication skills. Our concierge Carlos was the only person that very helpful and answered all the questions we had. We could ask him anything, so he deserves a 5 star rating.

Food is average nothing special, same daily in buffet area. Resto limited dinner options with prawns & mussels, unless you pay for lobster & tomahawk steak. Restaurant is okay in terms of getting a better service. Room cleaning floors and beddings daily is okay but can improve with properly wiping off common surfaces. Arrived with a sticky remote and phone as well. Family room needs updating as gaming tables are all broken. Game rooms offered for a fee are over priced for kids to enjoy including poor shaped billiard tables. Lazy river are dirty cloudy looking with floating stuff (body fluids of sort) not cleaned properly with some of the water falls broken/not working at all. Same dirty cloudy water condition on kids water park. Did not enjoy the beach as dirty seaweeds everywhere although manually cleaned are stinky to even lay down on the beach as located on Atlantic ocean, no clear turquoise water experience. Overall, average for a family with kids hotel

For context, we’ve been to a handful of resorts, in Mexico, Cuba and the Dominican. We have been to nice and luxurious ones, and it’s a pity that this one was the worse one we’ve gone to. Cons first. Food. For an all you can eat, the options were plenty, but the quality of the food is probably better at a high school cafeteria. Food is either too salty, overcooked, or just not good. Service. This is a mixed bag. I don’t mean to bash any worker in particular, but the service at a 5 star was such a let down. Constantly having to wave down staff, who most of the time were avoidant. When you did manage to get their attention, there was a chance they would not fully understand you, and get the order wrong or have 0 energy and effort. There were some individuals that actually try, and I’ll touch base on this after, but 7/10 staff members would be a fail in my books. Pros, sights. Really nice if you want good photos. Beach had a lot of seaweed but that was apparently due to the season. Still other nice views for pictures around the resort. Our concierge, Carlos was amazing. Golden. Whatever was needed he helped with ASAP. He is what everyone should be. It’s sad that I have to give a poor review, but Carlos, the chefs who make the eggs, and a few bartenders were good. Verdict: not a 5 star. Okay value if you have a kid, but if you have a special event, spend more for a better reviewed place. We had a baby so it was okay but this experience was very disappointing.

Ocean EL Faro Resort is a fantastic getaway spot right on a beautiful coast. The views are amazing, and the resort itself is gorgeous. Rooms are comfy and stylish, with great views. The staff is super friendly and helpful, making sure you have everything you need. Food is delicious, with lots of choices. Definitely a top-notch place for a relaxing and luxurious vacation! Also Special shoutout to Mr.Reinaldo Sànchez for going above and beyond to taking care of me and family

This is our second time staying here. The food and drinks quality plus the property amenities and service do not disappoint. It's great for families and they have an adults only section for more relaxed and calm environment. My kids have a great time and there is something for everyone. Shoutout to our butler Jose Miguel for his excellent service and to Berwin, John, Justina from the Privilege pool. The waitstaff at the Privilege lounge was also great! Overall, I would recommend this resort.
