The property is beautiful,clean, But really is not all inclusive when we talk about the food. And the optio n you don't have whent eating time is. Like for the restaurants you needs do reservation but you cant do it in advance. You needs do it early in ther morning if you want space. If not they have 2 rest that is for people dont do reservation.and few hours and if they have a private reservation the hold rest is one option less. And at that point I went to the manager because the restaurant I could eat I needed wait until 9:00. , ffor breakfast is buffet and coffee shop. During the days for food around the pool is hot dog ,burguer and fries. If you are vegetarian. Nothing. For some romm services I was sick ,I call.for b3cause I was sick you needs wait for the time they have available and I needs send someone to pick up. The hotel is beautiful. But they admisntration needs sick down. The show that I see are programing by day. In 7 days they did 2 out side. No activities and I needs buy tours or driver to go around. Because nothing open to do. The people want go for sleep and relax ok. And a lot consorcios inside. Ah if they want bring you to the casino. We when for go out and have fun. Don't go is a nice casino entry buy is like 7 mamchine old fashion

The property ia ok but the customer service is horrible. The choices for dinning are almost nule now in low season. They advertises multiple restaurants and shows and they kept closing restaurants and changing activities. The first room was moldy. During the day they just gave you the chouce of burgers and dogs for few hours. The people that sale time sharings were extremely annoying and on top they got upset bcs we did not want tp do it. They gave you the chouce to give you a ride to an other casino and they tries to charge us $80 . I spoke with the hotel manager Ivan because in the second day I just want to go back home instead staying tge entire week. Anybody exveot the manager was helping, but was insane calling the hotel manager for everything. The list keep going on. Horrible experience , and that waa my 6 time to DR and frequent traveler, I am not a newbie. Never evee I even request a refund . We went to times that we were hungry with no choives. Room service is not free and I did not want to go out .

Visited this resort for the 1st time with a friend. This was my 3rd visit to the DR and this place did not disappoint! For a 5 star resort, it can definitely use some further improvements especially in the rooms. The sheets had some spots and so did the furniture in the room and around the main reception area. The shower was alright, but the door did not have a proper handle which our kind concierge had the staff fix. We were there on the last week of August which the beach experienced a high volume of seaweed or Sargassum, so we weren't able to swim in the ocean, but we visited a nearby island (Catalina) and had no signs of it. So I would recommend doing research ahead, just in case the beaches are experiencing this issue as it differs from year to year. The staff were all wonderful, though. Beginning from our concierge Kevin Paulino, to the ladies at Mike's coffee to the lovely staff in all restaurants and around the resort, we were always treated with great hospitality and respect. Everyone was very helpful and always smiling. Our concierge, Kevin, checked on us every day and made our dinner reservations, which was very convenient especially on days where we were out on excursions. I would definitely come back to this resort and would recommend it to anyone looking to spend a good time!

The property in general needs an upgrade, especially the bathrooms in the bedrooms. There was a leak in each sink that I had to put towels on the floor to keep the water from getting out. Same thing happened with the shower and then in the morning the bathroom stink. My family and I didn’t like the buffet in the morning and night, it was lacking food and it felt like more like a High school cafeteria than a restaurant. The pool was nice, it was clean. The bathrooms around the hotel need some serious attention, new decor, new garbage cans. The staff was friendly.

Nuestra experiencia en el hotel fue increíble. Viajamos un total de 15 personas para celebrar el cumpleaños #60 de mi primo. Además, mi primo le propuso matrimonio a su novia 🎉💍. Una de las mejores sorpresas fue que Expedia nos incluyó un mayordomo durante nuestra estadía, y tuvimos la suerte de que fuera Kevin Paulino. Desde el primer día Kevin nos ayudó con todo: coordinar cenas, organizar tours y asegurarse de que cada detalle estuviera perfecto. Siempre estaba disponible, atento y con la mejor actitud. I loved this resort so much! There's so much to do and it's so huge you need a golf cart to travel from the other end to another. Definitely will come back in the future! The only downside was the AC wasn't working properly in our room especially how hot it is outside! But overall i loved it here so much! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary & I loved how they even decorated our room and gave us wine! Our room had a jacuzzi and even provided flowers & rose petals on it lol! We also celebrated our friend's bachelor & bachelorette! And Kevin Paulino, our butler was so helpful with everything from restaurant reservations, room service and all questions u needed to ask he provides a day to day activities & what u can do! And also hands down to OMAR the best bartender by the lazy river! We're a group of 9 people and he served us with the best drinks even with how busy it gets! If i could give this resort 11/10 I would! Definitely recommend!

My boyfriend and I spent a week at this resort and overall had a wonderful experience. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The resort itself is beautiful, and our room with a hot tub on the upstairs balcony was absolutely worth it. The food selection was impressive—we enjoyed every restaurant, with the hibachi standing out as our favorite. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to a third-party company operating on the beach. Their workers were extremely pushy, trying to sell us a membership we had no interest in. They called us multiple times in the early morning, tracked us down through other staff, and made us feel uncomfortable. After firmly declining, we noticed a change in how some staff interacted with us, almost as if we were being watched, which dampened the otherwise positive atmosphere. That said, we want to give a huge shoutout to our guest experience specialist, Carlos Carter. He went above and beyond—handling all of our dinner reservations, checking in regularly, and making sure we felt comfortable after the incident. His kindness and effort made our stay truly unforgettable. We honestly feel we would have had a very different experience without him. If you’re booking here, we highly recommend requesting Carlos—he turned our trip into something special, and we now consider him a friend.

Ocean El Faro met all of our needs as a family vacation. The amenities were clean and there was so much to do we were never bored. Kevin Paulino, our Expedia butler was amazing! He was respectful, cordial and was able to help us with any issues we might have encountered in a timely matter!
