The front desk and restaurant staff are superb. If it wasn’t for the lack of detail cleaning (dust and older sheets & towels) the rating would have been a 5 star. Mailena at the front desk lobby went above and beyond to accommodate an elderly guest in our party checking in throughout our stay. Thank you!

My family and I always stay at Riu properties, but this one Riu Palace was my first disappointment ever! To start our room was not cleaned daily we stayed 7days and only got our room cleaned once!!! We saw a couple of roaches in our room too. Figure they don’t clean the rooms. Food is not the best little variety and not many restaurants. Staff on the other hand were awesome they are very attentive and happy all the time.

I love Riu Punta Cana. There is something for everyone. Special activities/shows for kids as well as entertainment for just adults. The food is spectacular and the staff is amazing. This is going to be my go to resort when traveling to Punta Cana.

Resort could have been more clean , bathrooms were normally clogged . Waiters would fight over who would take care of you for tips , bathrooms need mayor remodeling. Only place that smelled and looked clean was main lobby, service is not the best . There’s a lot of room for improvement. Disappointed The resort is nice , but the service needs to be improved along with some remodeling of bedroom bathrooms.

The complaint I have is that I found two small cockroaches in room One in the bathroom and another one on top of the bar area I didn’t report it to the customer services For the entertainment I thought it would be more to include bachata salsa dancing since those are the dances in the Dominican Republic

This all inclusive was just what the doctor ordered. If you want a quick trip with relaxing views and amazing service then this is your spot. The staff at the pool bar is hands down the best! David will literally have your drink ready before the one in your hand runs out. Talk to strangers and make friends! The beach is great aside from the people offering you everything under the sun. Just say no and keep it moving. Book your tours on property as the tours offered at the airport are a time share scam waste of time if you are not into that do not interact with the people just outside the terminal head to your transportation kiosk and you will find your carrier.

The hotel was not the cleanest. When I first arrived my room was dirty. The toilet didn’t flush, there was a used sun tan spray bottle on the floor, the sofa bed was out of place, the coffee and bar area was visibly dusty and it was a weird smell in the room. I went to the front desk requested a new room. The new room was a bit cleaner however the coffee/bar are was visibly dusty. I didn’t like that the showers had a half door causing the floor to be wet every time we showered which is a fall risk Ww had to use all of our towels to dry the floor every time we showered House keeping did replenish is towels whenever we requested without giving Ian’s problem which was a good thing Overall I didn’t like my experience Won’t ever return
