The resort had excellent dining facilities, lots of options on different types of food. Three large pools. Lots of activities and parties located on the resort. The rooms could use some small minor updates, but other then that an amazing resort I’d recommend to anyone!!

I like that they brought you coffee every morning without asking at breakfast. I also like the salman and the chicken at the steak house. I did not like the small bugs that were on the counter in the bed room and in the bed room bathroom

The hotel is large, but the rooms were very old. And there was mold between the grouts on the floors and in the shower. The towels all had bleach stains on them. The food lacked variety. It was the same menu every single night on the buffet, as well as in the specialty restaurants. The steakhouse was the best place to eat I ate there a few nights in a row. The music lacked variety, it only catered to latinos or hispanics. There was no entertainment at night. After it got dark, there was literally no entertainment, and it got pretty boring, and you would have to leave the resort in order to find some type of entertainment. The riu parties were fun, but they were only every other night and some during the day. The beach had so much seaweed. You could barely swim in the ocean and they did try to clean it up a bit. so if you're looking for just rest and relaxation with no entertainment, no variety of food, then this is your place. My daughter and I were called "las negras"by some of the staff! They also acted like it was a chore to speak English to us. I won't be returning to this hotel. I'm probably not. Punta Cana, either.

Stayed 4 nights in Riu Bambu and it was just overall amazing. You have the Riu Party right around the corner and the ammenities are great. Staff are amazing as well and the beachfront was fantastic. Although the property were a little bit outdated but it was still nice. Would recommend.

The resort was nice although slightly confusing to navigate but only took a day of exploring to figure it out. The buffets were decent, nothing to brag about. The steak house was good food but the seating service is lacking. They operate on a first come first serve basis for all restaurants rather than a reservation system which requires you to line up at the entrance prior to 6:00 PM and hope you get a table. They do not skimp on the drinks and the bar service wherever we went was excellent. If you’re looking for a party resort and don’t mind subpar food, then this is the place for you.

Lovely place , nice food, but the rooms needs upgrades and the towels needs to be replaced, the brown color towels is a No No for me .
