service isnt the best and staff barely understand a word of english . with no spanish they give attitude and act weird. Hotel property , food and location all great though! restaurants have no system for booking so its v messy! we had to fill complain to management for,attitude but it was v professionaly treated honestly. overall good experience for first time punta cana

One of my new favorite resorts, as a first time here I will definitely come back. I felt so safe as a woman , customer service was 10 out of 10. the resort was very clean & anesthetic pleasing. So many things to do you don’t need to leave the resort unless you want excursions which you can book right here at the resort. Food was 6.5/10 but don’t let that stop you from booking you won’t regret

We enjoyed our room and location. The pool service staff were great, and appreciated their attentiveness. Riu wouldn't accomondate vowel renewal. Atmosphere around the pool was lacking, it felt dull. We also didn’t like having to rely on an app with spotty Wi-Fi. Our room wasn’t consistently stocked during our stay. Room service was disappointing. Food was less than lackluster. Breakfast service was hit or miss. Some staff were overly friendly, while others were not. Service at Elite restaurant, Krystal, & steakhouse left much to be desired. As an Elite member, a host was rude to us for arriving late due to a storm with lightning. My wife choked on a rubber band/ hair tie at Zen that was in her Pad Thai. We tried to raise the issue immediately, but a disruptive guest seated behind us made it impossible to communicate with staff or even each other. A couple next to them asked to move because of the commotion, and restaurant staff appeared overwhelmed and unresponsive. We brought the issue to the Elite Club desk immediately afterwards, where we were directed to speak with someone at the main desk. We spent over an hour on our final evening dealing with the situation. We followed up again at checkout, still no resolution. Late in our stay, learned that tipping was expected -may explain some of the rudeness. Repeat guests stated after resort rennovation, the food sufferred. Not consistent with our experience at other Riu properties. Wasn't the 25th anniversary trip we hoped for.

False advertising, they should remove this "Resort credit $1426 usd, it's bull. The desk staff couldn't explain it, we had to find someone else the next day. It's only a discount on limited things (spa or golf), like 10 to 20% off their price. And...you can only use it once and only for one person. This is what sold us to the place. Staff need to speak more english and say "hola" regardless of where they work. The food was average; the specialty dining was awful, we ended up doing buffet instead. Service was also awful in this area. Room was clean but we had a night stand light burnt out; didn't bother asking. Note to staff, not everyone speaks Spanish; just because you look like one doesn't mean you are. We were ready to tip for good service and we only did when it was deserving. Beverage served should be with alcohol, we shouldn't have to ask. All inclusive remember.

Amazing resort one of a kind!!!

Amazing view, amazing waterpark for kids, no restaurant’s reservation required. Would be better if there is some souvenir or welcome gifts.
