Overall I made the best out of my stay at Bavaro but I did not enjoy my stay here. The food at the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was terrible. Sometimes when they seated you it took 15-20 mins just for them to attend to you and pour water for everyone. The other dinning options on the resort were just as bad except for the steakhouse which provided flavor but limited options on the menu. The best meal I had was off the resort at this seafood restaurant a few minutes away, very flavorful and many options to eat. The staff is what made me rate this resort one star, none of the staff are friendly or even look to greet you. Some of the staff look miserable to be there. They complain about the tip you give them not realizing their service is poor and rude. They also talk bad about the guests not caring who speaks Spanish or not. The activities by the pool were fun and the music was enjoyable that made you want to dance. If you choose to come to Punta Cana I recommend you choose any other resort but Bavaro.

Frank at daiquiri bar makes the best long island teas. Leonel at bar cart in lobby is great and makes delicious drinks.Stefany is in buffet makes sure your well taken care of . The only thing that didn't work out was the sailing,had a appointment but no one had time for me.After going 2 different places I got my $ back.

First time going to a resort with my family, and this resort exceeded our expectations from the hospitality and staff to the cleanliness and food, everything was perfect. I will definitely be back!! And recommend this place to everyone!!! Everyone was so nice and welcoming made you feel very comfortable. The entertainment at night was beautiful and so enjoyable. The pools and beach was amazing, so clean and fun!!, the food was amazing, enjoyed all of our cocktails hahah!! This place is amazing!!! Can’t wait to come back!

Once we landed I had a prearranged ride to the resort which the driver didn’t understand English and he argued with us, saying Riu in Punta Cana dropped us off at the wrong Riu resort finally a taxi took me and my wife to the right one the guys in the lobby were yelling a lot at other guests there about the luggage goes in the corner which the wrong resort was giving me and my wife juice in check in line then we go to that one lol checked in at 6pm we landed at 3pm found definitely a male testosterone issue with some guys there at check in but once we finished that it was very easy to find are hotel room it’s mapped out very well with numbers and the rest of the staff were amazing on the resort I’m definitely going back hopefully they can teach the hotel stuff in the lobby to be more welcoming, coming

Is a very nice groomed and cared property, well established. Clean rooms, normal size , nothing extravagant, but nice. Food is good and we had some variety days at the buffet during the 5 days stay, for sure you find something good to eat. They had the best tasting fruits I had in a long time. Waterpark is a plus for families with kids . Beautiful beach and nice shady areas for fun activities. Definitely worth the money.

They treat you like family the minute you walk in. Everyone on staff and in the restaurants remember you if you’re staying for more than a couple of days, including which beverage you like for breakfast lunch and dinner! Impressive the the volume of people throughout the resort daily! The food was very similar everyday, but the options at the cafe/food court were great!

I like the property and the things offered. I wished the night life in the hotel lasted a little longer and offered more. You would have to leave the hotel to do things like party because the hotel doesn’t offer that.
